¿How was your experience travelling solo?

I went once to Budapest during one week and despite of the time I visited the city, that was quite empty(christmas time) I did pretty good finding some good spots at night and doing some day game (weather was sunny the first 5 days but after cold came like hell).

This summer I'm planning Belgrade !

I've traveled solo for a few years. It's only tough on long road trips. Otherwise you do whatever you want on your own schedule and meet people along the way. I still enjoy staying at hostels, but I doubt I will do so for much longer. Otherwise traveling alone a great time to gather your thoughts.

Depends.

Strict bang mission? Obviously solo.

Most other times? I actually like traveling with a group of friends or a plate; making her pay half the expenses of course.

Excluding bang missions, I find solo travel to be a bit boring and unfulfilling unless I'm in a place for a specific purpose. If I'm going to spend all the time, energy, and money going somewhere, I would prefer to share the experience with people.

Been traveling solo for almost 2 years. Has its ups and downs, pros an cons. Just like everything else.

Fortunately in most cities I go I meet up with other awesome Rooshv members. Most of them are some of the coolest people I ever met.

I prefer going solo because my goal when travelling is getting pussy, so unless i find somebody that has the same goal and thirst and a similar style of gaming he is gonna be a problem ad a load for me more than an actual travel mate.

Solo is the best, been travelling alone since 2011, a few trips a year. Posting from Sri Lanka right now. Advantages of travelling solo: If you want company, it's easy to start a conversation, with basically anybody. People travelling are usually very openminded, so it's easy to make friends or more if that's what you're after. Also, if you do want to be alone, you are. So, to me it's the best of both worlds.

Not to mention that if you do open up to people, you will get friends all over the world (forum members or not).

I travel solo, but I am rarely really alone.
If I am in a place for more than a week, I set up a home base in a big city and explore it the first week with the girls I am going to bang. Do it instead of dates. Best cultural exchange. Tourist guides with benefits.
After first week I start taking trips out of the city, now with the girls I am already banging.
This worked for me every time except one trip, 4 days in the Netherlands. (very hard for me there) I still met people every day and every evening, but no real companionship. And I met some RVF members. Everywhere else I went so far it was working well.
Just to give an example. Exploring Buddhist temples with a real Buddhist girl is a completely different experience.

If I would start travelling solo few years earlier I would be red pill few years earlier. These things go hand in hand.
I travelled a lot with my ex before. Traveling solo is way better it seems that everyone wants to chat with you when you are solo.
By travelling solo my FB is just growing exponentially. I have buddies all over the world now.
If you get bored or feel like sharing use meet-up section. I had 4 meet-ups by now and all of them were great and some amazing.

I've been traveling solo for 2.5 years now and have very few complaints. It can get lonely on long stretches without seeing your old friends, but that's about it in my case. You get to do what you want, when you want, without anyone objecting. However, you probably miss a lot of spontaneity if you're not motivated to do something, which can happen.

I travel solo about 20% of the time and it does have some big benefits:

- You can do exactly what you want, when you want it, where you want it. No bowing to groupthink
- You never have to give up on the chance of a date / going home with a girl because your group has made plans to be somewhere the next day
- It forces you to develop socially as a person because you HAVE to talk to strangers.
- You're more likely to learn the local language because of the above.

However, I really think you just can't beat traveling with 3 or 4 close male friends. In a decent sized travel group it just makes everything so much more fun. The sense of camaraderie is very hard to beat.

Every breakfast is a hilarious recap of the previous night's adventures. You spend the day hanging out with your close friends doing touristy stuff or chilling on a beach (or ditch them to go hang out with a girl if you want). Then go for dinner/drinks with them, where no matter how hungover/tired you are someone will drive the group into getting stuck into girls and get you into a motivated mental state. Then you've got some great wingmen to help you score when you are out. Plus, if anything serious goes wrong (mugging, food poisoning etc) you know your mates will take care of you the way a stranger wouldn't.

I'll always almost always pick a trip with friends over a solo one (presuming they aren't going somewhere awful) if they're in competition. But a solo trip is better than no trip. And is something everyone should do at least a couple of times I think, for their own personal development.

Mostly travel solo but when you travel with one other person, it can really help. If one of you are off your game that night, you can lift each other up. It's a lot more difficult to get lonely thoughts when you're in the company of friends. Doesn't look as weird when you go to places alone. You'll have memories with another person you can share for a lifetime. Only downside that I've experienced is that you actually do get rejected at the door more often if you're with another guy than if you were just solo.

I remember waiting in line for this club and these two girls were like, we know the bouncers - they reject you if you are a group of two or more guys, but we can get you in if you leave your friend. I was like, "lol, no." Sure enough, we got rejected.

Both have their pros and cons. I say just be grateful for whatever your present situation is, solo or with a group.

Travelling solo is great when you don't know where you're going. Do it through the Former Soviet Countries, just go from Poland into Ukraine on the train and stop off in a few towns here and there, ones you never heard of before and never thought you'd go to. Move into Russia, get your visas on the way, into Central Asia... It's beautiful. You will bang girls here and there, but even when it doesn't happen everything feels right in life.

I disagree with this line, and it's the one main issue I have with traveling Solo. I'm an introvert, so usually I'll pass the time reading stuff on my phone instead of being forced to talk to people. But in general, I enjoy the freedom of doing whatever I want when I want-- though it does get lonely at points.

Heck the problem I find is that other people are either reading, or texting, watching handheld video or engrossed in a conversation with a companion. That leaves few people open to talking. If I'm travling with someone the possibilities oftalking with strangers are even further reduced.
Personally I like traveling alone: decide what to do, when, how long to stay at a certain place, how much to spend on food/travel/lodging, more chance to speak with natives and practice their language. Also people seem more open to talking with a lone man than with a groupof men. But there's no "right" answer. Different strokes fordifferent folks.
