I went out with a girl last Thursday I met online for drinks. The date was initially good, in that the conversation was pretty free flowing and we seemed to get along. There was some light kino. After we left the bar and were walking back to my place I put my arm around and was going to try to go in for the kiss, but she just seemed a little bit too far away. She said she had a good time and wanted to go out again. Now she sends me a text saying that she had a good time but thinks I'd be a better match for her friend. Am I interested?
Can you guys think of anyway to go back out with first girl? I've never met or even seen a pic of the friend, and the girl I went out with was pretty hot.
Part of me thinks I should just not respond.

Sadly, cut the losses and move on. If she wants to push you on her friend, she clearly doesn't want you and is disposing of you on her friend. Makes you wonder what the friend is like. There is that chance that she is telling the truth and that her friend is hot too though, haha. Just remember, with every group of hot chicks, there is that ugly (and usually hungry) one!

Observe the 80-20 rule. 80 percent says it's just a nice way of her just passing you off and 20 percent says she might be genuine and have a pretty friend.

Say sure, and ask to see a picture of the friend or something. Don't break your regular routine. If the friend is hot, great, you win if not, you didn't lose anything.

I have a few 80-20's lurking right now so I know how you feel.

Never, however, agree for your date to bring along a friend.

Sounds like girl #1 has other things going on in her life that are making her unavailable --some of these things can be major like depression, a relative with a major medical illness like cancer, or being still in mourning for someone close who died. You do not want to be the tampon soaking up all her bullshit right now. If you've got an empty calendar, sure, ask her to send you a picture and see who she introduces you to. Maybe you can social circle her friends.

As to getting back to girl #1, the usual totted technique is wait a couple weeks and use a reset script, but usually long before that much time has passed I'm off with better, more hot girls and the old girl in my mind is now just a wasted evening and not even worth bothering with anymore. The few times I tried resetting I found them just as screwed up a few weeks later and nothing really changed.

What you can salvage here is doing the "Let's be friends" thing to her while continuing to be the fun, attractive guy she wants to invite to parties where her single friends are. As a friend continue to use her as a contact to find out about cool things going on that she knows about, and dribble a few her way yourself. Takes less than a minute a week.

You might as well check out a picture of the friend. It seems like the first girl is a lost cause as of now but her friend could be a possibility (depending on her looks).

but what if I call her up and just tell her that I appreciate the thought, but I'd rather go out with her again, and see what she says.

i reread it and it seems she might have cooled off after a week.
i think if you ignore her offer altogether and just invite her to something else that would work, and shell get the hint.

No worries hype. I called her and the issue seems to be religion. she's 30 and wants to have a family and all that. during the date it came up that we're different religions, which I don't care about because I'm not religious, but it does mean something to her. needless to say she was rehashing the date with her friend who's same religion as me and they thought up the switch.
i told her to think about it some more and rationalize/talk herself back into going out with me and we'd talk in a few days. she sent me a pic of the friend, who looks good...

i'm leaning towards pushing her a little bit on going out with me again, but if it seems like a no go just taking her up on her friend.

Go out with girl 2 and show her an awesome time. I think your only hope is making girl 1 jealous, but honestly, I think it is dead. Good luck.

Also what if you actually started liking girl 2? She could be much more fun and girl 1 is obviously trying to pawn you off on her, so she undoubtedly built you up to girl 2, making things much much easier for you to pound. Just sayin.

A little off topic, but I never met any girl who was into a conventional religion, (Chistian/Islam/Hindu) I mean in terms of actually taking the religion seriously and wasting time thinking about that Medieval BS, that was ANY good at all sexually.

It usually means they are completely impractical (In a bad way not a fun way) and see the material world ( i.e. sex) as something of a downer.

However, one of the hottest lovers I ever had was into Eckankar, she was into writing down her dreams and stuff; and some real intelligent chicks are into Buddhism which isn't really a religion, more a philosophy about impermanence and are DTF because we all disappear.

I don't accept hookups. For one, I feel like I'm being pawned off, and I don't trust a chick's judgment with regards to who would be right for ME. If she's throwing a bone to another girl, I find it hard to believe that girl would be hot. Another reason is that if you go out with the other girl, she's going to report back the first chick, and they'll be in your business, talking shit about you. If the girl you want isn't down for you, I'd cut the whole business loose...
