Many of our top posters like Samseau and AB have been saying for a while that the Left will continue to cannibalize itself like this more and more. How much damage can they do to themselves before it really hurts them is anyone's guess. Anyone who has raised kids will see the similarity between actions like these and acting out in children. They have these powerful emotions and drives that they either don't know how to control, or don't have the words to describe, so frequently their behavior will become more chaotic and outlandish.

I don't even like using these hackneyed lefty terms like acting out or cry for help, but that is pretty much what they are.

Their actions are saying, "You are not giving me enough direction here. I am frustrated, and have more freedom than I know what to do with, so I will continue doing more and more outlandish things until you reign me in."

It reminds me of an article I read once about kids trading stories of how hard their lives were. Forgive me if I am repeating this story> They all took turns saying, "My parents make me. . ."
