I will update the list once I find the time. I never found reliable information anywhere on the internet.
There are countries that are completely under the radar, for example some countries in Africa.
Also, there are countries that take biometric data only at airports but not at land borders.

The first time I got a driver's license (I was quite a bit younger, and privacy conscious even then) I considered saying no, and not getting a license. But it's basically impossible to exist without one in the US. And not to mention, if they arrest you for driving without one, they're going to take your finger prints, your photo and name are gonna end up all over the internet, and on top of it, they're going to take your DNA (this practice is becoming pretty common now).

My question would be, are some countries able to take dna from visitors?

Yes, Kuwait comes to my mind:

Quote:[DNA] Collection will be done at a special center at Kuwait International Airport, where in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Department, airlines and embassies, visitors will be advised on their rights and duties towards the DNA law.

Yes, the test will be mandatory for visitors. As the executors are responsible to collect and examine samples, we will notify relevant authorities about whoever refuses to give a sample so that they could apply the measures stipulated in the law. We will also coordinate with various airlines and foreign embassies in Kuwait so that all visitors can have a good idea about the law and the possible consequences of rejecting its procedures.

Panama now fingerprints everyone at the international airport and at land border crossing (when the machine is working).

I also read an article mentioning that Paraguay will start fingerprinting, but I will confirm that when I go there later this year.

As I earlier pointed out, there is not much reliable information on the internet. The best source is probably the flyertalk forum.

Keep in mind this list applies to westerners. Middle Easterners and Africans have their fingerprints taken in most western countries as well.

Selembao,

Kazakhstan & Georgia (both are FSU countries) should be added to "Photo" list both on Arrivals and Departures.
