She's in the minority, brahs. It's a Republican-controlled Congress. Jackie's just trying to remain relevant from the most libtard part of America. They want IDs for burner phones but not for voting. They also don't need for you to be a citizen from the United States to acquire a CA driver's license. The article is also reporting it wrong. She's not a California state representative, she's a Member of Congress.

However, I wouldn't be surprised by a CA legislator introducing such legislation in Sacramento. Her bill crucifies the migrant constituency they love so much in Sec. 3: https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-cong...4886/text. Tracfone also doesn't have much of a PAC. I guess because nobody wants to identify themselves?

This will never pass. It freaks me out though, because whatever California does, Hawaii usually does a few months later.
