As an Australian, my 2 cents worth:
- ditch Uluru and Perth
- I would go for Sydney >> Byron Bay >> Brisbane >> Cairns (including Reef and Daintree Rainforest) and try to get a flight out of Cairns**.

I would not bother with Uluru - as others have suggested. It is just too expensive to get to and stay at. If you like Australia, it would be a reasonable destination for a 3rd or 4th trip done as a part of a cross country road / camping trip from Darwin to Adelaide - but that is a huge undertaking and not for the first timer to Australia.

** Regarding flights, a fact that is not well advertised because it cuts out the transpacific carriers is that there are a huge range of options to get to Australia from the US and back if you are prepared to stopover in Hawaii (usually - but not always - you will need to spend one night there). I would seriously look at doing it this way.

Seconded. There's nothing you can do here that you can't do for 3 times as cheap in Asia, except maybe the footy game. Also, travelling to Australia expecting to see quality women is like travelling to Italy expecting to see the Mona Lisa and seeing a 3 year old's scribble drawing instead.

I don't know man.. You can't deny there is a lot of talent walking the inner city streets of Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.. I spent a day in Byron Bay a couple weeks ago and at least 50% of the girls were 7+

With that being said I definitely wouldn't come to Australia in search of women.

Sure, on the surface there are some decent looking younger girls in the 18-21 bracket but as soon as they open their mouths it's usually game over. They will more than likely sound like a man (Aussie accent is atrocious on females), swear like a sailor, and be so up themselves that you find them instantly unattractive and would prefer to go jump off Sydney Harbour Bridge than put up with their garbage. Not to mention, most are into some form of drugs and their only idea of fun is "getting messy with da girls". No sophistication or feminine qualities about them what so ever.
