This part of the article struck a chord in me. I think the author of the article, whether she was aware of it or not, knew he would not stand a chance in court if it was purely his word against hers. It's the language she used. I find it absurd that if the man was already innocent of the crime he's being accused of, the only thing he'd be saved from would be a false conviction by the courts.

There is a witch hunt going on in the Western hemisphere, and all men have been put on trial.

No man, thats not justice. Justice would have been to give her the same sentence he would have received if convicted.

Imagine having your life torn apart "just because". Just because some asshole thought it would be fun and easy. To "be saved" by chance, not because of justice or a thorough investigation or even the assumption of innocence before a lack of evidence.

Justice would have been a guarantee that that sociopaths pale ass would never see daylight again.
