Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was such a horrendous abomination on the entire fabric of humanity and a let-down of such epic proportions in cinema history, that the creators of South Park dedicated an entire episode to running it into the ground.

Nothing in the world....NOTHING can ever make up for Indiana Jones 4.

Honestly, this feels just like the pathetic beta boyfriend who fucked up so badly with his girl, that he thinks if we writes a really long pleading letter, buys loads of flowers and gifts, and cries on her doorstep all night, she will take him back. She won't.

Douglas Slocombe, the cinematographer on the first three films, actually passed away a couple of weeks ago. The Indiana Jones movies just don't look the same without him.
