This. Although I'd be even more cautious. This sounds like one of those absolute train wrecks where they get in your room, you fuck them, and then they try to extort you for money by threatening to call the police. Proceed with caution.

That goes down as one of my weirdest ever online experiences. I got a few nudes and it is definitely the same girl as the one in the profile, but she looks closer to 33 than 23. They were also sent to me from a gmail account with a man's name.. I called her out and she dropped contact.

Good shit. I have some more questions, if no one minds answering them:

1) How much is an Uber ride generally? Let's say a ride ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. I'm not sure how sprawled out HCM is, and how long it takes to get from point A to point B due to traffic and what not.

2) Or, how much per month would renting a motorbike set me back?

3) Is meat, chicken, or fish common at all, in food stalls or cheap restaurants? Will it be easy to avoid rice/noodles/carbohydrates in general, or more on the harder side? Or what's your guys' main source of protein?

Also, is anyone currently teaching in Vietnam?

Gotta say that I'm not sure I will be pipelining in the future, the amount of time it takes and ROI is just not worth it for me. The girls I've met and hooked up with in the last week were all last minute spur of the moment kind of things and it's been great. The ones I pipelined kinda flaked or I got distracted.

One girl added me on a chat app which they use in Vietnam yesterday afternoon, turns out we live on the same street. I ask her to grab a drink with me and then we go back to my place. Alright I'll take this one.

My lunch yesterday, for example, cost 70,000 VND, which is about $3. 2 grilled pork chops, 4 fried eggs, pig skin and shredded pork, and pork in fermented fish sauce. Comes with rice, but you can eat as little or as much as you want. Also available were grilled chicken legs, stir-fried beef and bok choy, clay pot braised fish, clay pot shrimp and pork, fried fish, stir-fried squid, vegetables and pineapples, and several other things that I can't remember.

You will have no problem getting meat here. Yogurt, nuts and cheese are also easy to find.

Totally true, if you are low-carb/paleo then Vietnam is a pretty good place to be. The food is very healthy from the bone broth soups, meats, seafood, vegetables, fresh fruits and of course coconuts. It's actually not uncommon to dine with Vietnamese friends and the entire plates to consist of meats and vegetables...no carbs. In other situations just ask for extra meat and leave some of the noodles/rice.

The only thing that is missing is good fats, it's not really in the Vietnamese diet. So normally I have coconut oil, olive oil, butter, cheeses at my home to get that stuff. I'll often cook eggs and beef in butter for breakfast and have a greek salad with feta cheese and lots of olive oil.

Uber black (not uberX) was 200.000dong from the airport to district 4. I rented a nice bike for 1.700.000dong for two weeks. Cheaper one were available for 900.000dong/2weeks but they were not nice. Taxi rides have been between 21.000dong to 150.000dong.

Where do you buy Greek Feta in HCMC. I buy Dodoni brand in Chiang Mai, but not that often. It's ok, but not a brand that I would buy if I am in Greece. I covered oregano (1/2 kg) and olive oil (18 kg) by bringing it with me from Greece. Curious about the availability and price of certain European food products compared with Thailand. The Greek yogurt available here is dreadful, although not much worse than the crap they pawn off as Greek yogurt in the U.S and Canada.

I recently got it at the citimart at the top of parkson shopping mall, it's the Emborg brand (Danish), I think it tastes pretty good. I've seen it in quite a few supermarkets in Vietnam. They also have a greek restaurant here which can deliver greek yoghurt and feta but I haven't tried it yet. Oregano and Olive oil is very easy to find, I wouldn't ever bring it with me

I brought the good stuff, Oil from my own Manaki olive trees and oregano from the Parnonas mountains.

Are there any laundry shops around Nguyen Hue in District 1? I did a Google search and didnt really find much except around Bui Vien.
My hotel does laundry but they charge about $1 per piece of clothing which is a bit pricey imo.
