Just curious was there some analysis done on those guys? I don't recall someone determining they were psychopaths. To be honest, I just thought the legend just had a bad handle on English and couldn't soften the words well enough.

There really needs to be terminology to differentiate between natural psychopaths and the ability to adaptively emulate psychopathic behavior. A true psychopath is mentally defective and essentially less than a full human being, by that description you aren't going to see nearly as much "omg I just watched American Psycho and read a blog about the dark triad: I think I'm a psycho now and I'm going to start wearing black eyeliner and people will, like, think I'm totes edgy!"

All the stuff about developing dark triad characteristics is supposed to be going against human nature in order to effectively succeed in a hostile environment where trusting people is dangerous. If you can't turn that shit off around people you should trust, then your life is going to suck massively since you'll have no friends.

However, I cannot comprehend the term of the "needy love". Why would anyone think less of themselves, if their Partner broke up with them.
