In addition to his puerile wailing, I think I really lost it when he brought up his carrying a gun in "military service". He was an Air Force media/public affairs officer and never deployed to Vietnam. This same kind of grandstanding takes place in political elects all the time, as if the invocation of serving in the military automatically makes you a qualified badass.

Southern's stirring the pot for violent antics reminds me of the Patrice O'neal bit about women learning options.
