Singer/songwriter Larkin Grimm has written a post on her personal Facebook page claiming that Swans frontman Michael Gira raped her in the spring of 2008, when she was recording her album Parplar for Gira's Young God label. She says that Gira continued to make unwanted sexual advances towards her in the months that followed. After Parplar's release and accompanying tours, she says she confronted Gira, who then dropped her from his label. Gira called Grimm's accusations "a slanderous lie" and a "horrible slur."

Is this like the newest trend, reporting "rapes" a decade after they supposedly happened?

It's such obvious bullshit, I mean if it was really rape and not just "we kinda had sex and I'm kinda not sure what to make of it" bullshit, then you'd expect her to have a traumatizing, VISCERAL reaction to a man who would've raped her. She wouldn't be able to even stay in the safe place as her violent rapist, never mind creatively working alongside him and producing songs. She'd run for the hills in search of a new job just to get away from such a vile, violent person. But nope, she continued working with him for another decade, go figure
