RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
This whole fiasco really made me re-evaluate my priorities in terms of self-improvement and game. I never liked discussing the political stuff on RVF - the broken record of how horrible it is to live in America, how we're all doomed, American women are awful, liberals are trying to kill masculinity, etc. It's hard to be happy when that stuff is constantly on your mind.

However, the meetup outrage was a real slap in the face. These people HATE us. They have made up huge lies and used the dirtiest below-the-belt moves in an attempt to paint us as the worst kind of criminals imaginable. Publicly labeling someone as a rapist or a racist is a horrible thing to do, especially in an age when the public doesn't even question your guilt despite having zero evidence, formal charges, or personal knowledge about who you are. It's truly terrifying how quickly and shamelessly these fake, holier-than-thou pieces of shit will try to ruin reputations and lives, all while remaining virtually invincible in the eyes of the public.

Banging meaningless girls to pass the time doesn't seem as important when masculinity is being literally exterminated right in front of my eyes. Something needs to be done, or I'm seriously going to need to consider getting the fuck out of America.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
My main question is "what next?" as the outrage convinced me how important it is to start local communities/tribes. I have no more concerns security-wise, after following all of the advice for protecting identify (burner email on the forum, no clearly identifiable posts, cleaning our PMs, etc). I appreciate all the steps you took to protect us once the heat was on.

The experience changed my perspective on the media and our culture altogether. While I knew journalists were biased, I used to think the major publications did basic fact checking. To read so many articles from mainstream publications with outright lies shocked me, and I'm never going to take an inflammatory headline at face value again.

That doesn't even touch the government part, it was surreal reading that transcript of the UK parliament discussing the meetups. Again I expected high-level government officials to at least consider facts, but it's obvious they were as uniformed (or deliberately so) as the journalists.

I'm also disappointed in how weak the legal recourses are for such obvious libel. I thought Operation Bullhorn and other ways of striking back would build a strong case against them, but from following all the legal discussion it looks like court cases aren't the way to go here (outside of the Gari situation, of course).

There are upsides. I've discussed the situation with select family and friends, and I've found leading into it with the extent of media lies has them receptive in a way just bringing up red pill beliefs wouldn't. Men who've already noticed other media cover-ups are receptive to viewing this as another example of the media pushing an agenda over truth.

Anyway, I had volunteered to host before the storm and I'd still like to get something started in my city. I'm posting more to build up my credibility for the next attempt, as it's clear everyone involved will need some basic vetting first.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but the fact that, even after the meetups were officially cancelled, most of us forum members went ahead with unofficial meetups anyway. That, alone, is an inspiration. We should draw upon this inspiration and resilience, which gives me hope that masculinity is indeed going to fight back...

...and WIN.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
Roosh, I hope I told you this in the aftermath meeting in NYC.

But you didn't know you were bulletproof until they fired shots at you. You didn't know you were fireproof until they shot flamethrowers at you.

And we didn't know how committed and strong we were, until we saw you handle the situation as you did.

We aren't many, but we are fiercely committed.

There's also a story in Revelation. Christ has triumphed, and his loyal follows are staring at Satan's corpse, and they all ask themselves, "This is all? This is the Father of Lies? This pathetic figure is the apex of our enemies?"

Though our opponents are numerous and entrenched in high political and media places, they are all weak. And they cannot beat us because we have too many ways to win. Whether we stay in this country, or not. Whether we marry it not. Whether we have children or not.

We will win because we are strong, committed, and happy. They will lose because they are weak, less committed, and profoundly unhappy.

Ditto to the guys saying it was a real education.

It's the first time I've ever had the inside track on a breaking news story and the behaviour of the media, even now, still leaves me aghast.

Just when you think you can't get anymore cynical.

It has made me determined to attend the next one, though.

I'm just fine. If anything, it taught me the value of private alliances and forging them. Trying to expose yourself to the lying MSM just ends in career and personal destruction most of the time. I think men ought to forge more private bonds until the time is ripe to overthrow the current system. We haven't quite reached the tipping point yet IMHO.

If there is any silver lining in all of this I hope this has pulled back the curtain for guys sitting on the fence when it comes to believing that media and establishment conspiracies really exist.

What we witnessed was a failed attempt at a public lynching by the media AND establishment based on false information. It should be very obvious now that they will throw people under the bus and engage in frame ups on a mass scale when it suits the narrative.

This isn't the first time the media and establihsment has joined together and weaponized "rape" claims to go after someone speaking inconvenient truths. Julian Assange was similarly tossed under the bus with very sketchy rape charges and still isn't really free to this day.

I'm glad it happened - talk about an eye opener. Before I took the MSM with a pinch of salt; now I see what poisonous entities they really are that happily lie and distort to fulfil the narrative. Nothing is to be taken at face value.

It brought the SJWs out of the shadows to show how pathetically easily manipulated they are. Useful idiots, pawns in a game far bigger than left vs right, or men vs women, white vs black...it's far, far bigger and darker than all that.

It has renewed my determination to get involved with a meet up. When your enemy fights you they are training you in how to fight them back, and they have shown their hand. Well done to all involved with organisation, we learned valuable lessons on the enemy with minimal casualties and that is a victory in itself.

Keep fighting, gentlemen.

I thought all the hubbub was just hot brain farts by all the media outlets trying to get clickbait monies from the pro-rape bs, until I heard about the dude who actually got hospitalized (I think it was punks using pro-rape bs to cause trouble) and about the guy who got chased down by a mob in canada.

Now I think the "registry for journalist responsibility" troll bill needs to be a real thing, until these media whores learn that they can't just put out any rage inducing bullshit without real-life consequences.

I am doing fine but if I am honest, I am salty about the SJWs and our elites preventing our meet up from occurring.

I stopped working out due to the overload of classes this semester (linear algebra, Physics 2, Discrete math). But after the meet up outrage, I signed up for the gym and doubled down lol. These are trying times and I believe now more than ever we have to start creating a real life network (got some ideas of how we can move forward on this).

I just felt ashamed that I didn't have the courage or position to challenge the spin. My close friends talked about it and realised it was bullshit but I kept my distance out of a preference of not touching the shit. It's not in my nature to be idle in my ideals.

The level of hate was quite the surprise. Sure, having positive discussions about Red Pill issues gets some derision. But when real life discussions could be happening, so many people go batshit crazy.

The big takeaway is that any future real-life meetings must be coordinated and held secretly. This, of course, will cause much wailing and gnashing of teeth from the SJW crowd. Good.

I am still shocked at all the outrage and press coverage. You should announce another global meet up for march 1st - of course this would be a fake announcement for a meet up that isn't planned. Would love to see the sjw and feminazis get all wound up again...all for not. keep repeating this drill month after month them strike back with an actual RVF global meet up day. Thanks to roosh and rvf followers who did have the courage to attend the meet ups. I have decide to head to colombia for a few weeks and forget the hate.
P.s. Tell australia that you will be attendind the Queensland RVF meet up - arriving via space capsule

Either Roosh should have an event in Australia during Easter; which can be titled the first coming of Roosh (there's even a side pun in there).

Or have another legit international meet-up day for April the 1st.
Which will force the media to second guess before any hysterics.

Aside from all that though.
Has anyone noticed that the sky has not fallen yet...

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
I went to UNSW, a big 8 university in Australia. They have a thing called "foundation day" which celebrates the founding if the university and raises money for charity every year.

It tends to be contested between various groups, and one if the items is a prank.

The most famous prank was they once called some road construction workers, telling them that some university students would be dressed as police officers and instruct them to move on.

They then rang the police telling them that some university students would be dressed as construction workers who wanted a pretense to block traffic.

Sounds funny when real police officers meet real construction workers, both convinced the other party are not legit but pranksters.

A legitimate riot occurred. They tamed down pranks after this.

A RoK meeting needs be be 'announced' along these lines, perhapsbetween SJW's and MMA fighters.

Hilarity would ensue.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
Since the outrage I've made a "Burner" Email & have attached that to most of my online accounts that don't require my real info. I'm also currently searching for a job, so I have some extra time on my hands and made sure I spent a few hours reporting many of the over the top level SJW's that were harassing Roosh between Twitter, Youtube, & Amazon. I haven't checked yet to see if it made any difference or not but it still felt good for a few days! The whole thing has made me decide to become active on this Forum from now on. I've been skimming it for years and have been a reader of Roosh/ROK for years but this was the point where I had to jump in. Also, I don't know about everyone else but the whole thing has made it even more enjoyable to observe Trump's growing success. I already laughed at the Liberals/Establishments misfortune before but now it's on a whole new level of: Ohshit2

"Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don't feel stupid or insecure, it's not your fault." –Donald Trump

I'm doing pretty good.

Photos of myself and the other local attendees were posted on local SJW Facebook groups, but they were never able to publicly identify us. By now the furor has died off completely.

I will say, though, that I was legitimately shocked by the global firestorm of outrage that ensued in such short order. That being said, that simply tells me that narrative collapse, and the establishment attempts to desperately prop it up at all costs, are accelerating at breakneck speed.

If this was any indication, 2016 is going to be a wild ride for all of us.

It was nice to find out just how little quarter from the mainstream there isn't for an ROK reader. Even less for having a beer with a few like minded gentlemen. But also interesting to see how fast the outrage evaporated once we took them head on.

The whole experience brought me more in touch with work, family and the gym. Maybe the time of year, but afterwards it felt like time to go build a business, have another child and raise a traditional family of great thinkers.

It's a great time to be a patriarch.

Given how I'm in the middle of a 1.5 year long nasty divorce battle, this conflict and battle was manageable for me since I'm already fighting a war. Had a similar thing happen to me as High Speed, Low Drag but wasn't too worried about it. Topped the night off by giving a ride home to the two most wanted men in Chitown that Saturday night, then went home to continue my battle with my soon to be ex with whom I still live. That war is still ongoing but yeah I'm doing just fine.

It was an eye-opening experience. My faith in the media is completely depleted.

I've had a few thoughts which I wrote about on ROK here and here.

Led me to think about the different ways people attack others with different beliefs and the purpose of scapegoats.

Roosh was a modern sacrificial for the tribe to attack, feel cleansed, and move on.

I used to think human sacrifices were bizarre rituals. Now it seems almost normal.

There's something innate within people that compels them to project their fears onto something and attack it.

I know not the cause of the divorce and will not inquire.

I know it may not mean much, brother, coming from someone you do not know on an internet forum but still - stay strong, do not give up, be cunning and not yield an inch.

I know you are going through personal hell right now and I hope it eases your frustration and rage even a little knowing that there are men out there who in silence root and cheer for you.

On topic: I've come to accept it and cherish such moments. My role in this whole ordeal was more or less nonexistent but after these gruesome allegations which were outright lies made by 'respectable' journalists I've decided to become a more active member on this board.

I've decided to never buy another magazine unless it is fully endorsed by this board.

I've been self improving on a much higher pace than before - reading, working out, socializing and trying to help others more unfortunate than I.

Lastly, the most important decision, for me, is to think about ways on how to administer Red Pill knowledge on unsuspecting youths when their minds are most impressionable. The more I read about the human brain the more I become convinced there to be a certain period of time in which the mind is most acceptable to information.

I’ll borrow something I’ve read in books written by our very Quintus Curtius (I recommend them wholeheartedly): Character first, knowledge later!

I've started with my brother who is in puberty. Our sessions were short and few, for now, but his posture has gotten better, his manners also, he has starting to get higher grades and taking sport more seriously. Next come lectures about the importance on lifting and women.

One step at a time, brick by brick... so are epic journeys made and empires built.

TLDR: The Roosh Train has left the station, it knows not on how to brake, its destination is unknown and I'm happy to be aboard!

Romans 8:31 - 'What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?'

My notes.

Be grateful.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
The ROK Meetup Outrage of 2016 definitely made me realize and think about a few things:

- It was a wake up call and made me take things seriously.
I thought that the RVF was a niche, dandy little club of men who wanted to travel, get paid, and get laid and everything was good. When the meetup debacle went down, shit got real and I realized that we have enemies who want to destroy us.

- It made me take privacy more seriously.
I'm using more secure messenger apps like Telegram and others now. Got a burner e-mail set up and should probably set up several more and get a VPN.

- It made me realize how important this site is.
Since the debacle, I've met up with a few forum members who are really cool and were more than willing to help me out. I hope I can continue connecting with other forum members, improve my Game and other areas of my life, and give back to the community. This community wants to help men fulfill their potential and get the most out of life and because of that we have enemies. What we're doing is important.
Also, come on Saigon forum members, let's get a Saigon tribe started!

- Turned me onto Asian women
I never knew what Asian women from Asia could offer. Why in God's name didn't I find out about this sooner. Western women can't compete.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
I had always thought RVF and ROK had great potential, but I never thought they would make their way into the real world like this. This feels to me like the start of something big and bold, and I'm very glad to have been part of it. Ultimately we're one part of a much larger social tide that's emerging.

I was intrigued by the sheer level of resistance we got from the far left. Besides the useful idiots who read the rubbish news articles, I believe the feminists/witches/red guards who oppose us do have an accurate idea of what we're about, and this is why they were so quick to try to make Roosh look like Julien Blanc.
