Question How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
It's only been 3 weeks since the outrage started. I wanted to check in with everyone and see if you had any remaining concerns or worries.

Can we have another official meetup? Or is the outrage going to be too big? The Auckland meetups are already happening but I want another big marketing push.

Stronger than ever! Being apart of this site and mini movement has galvanized me. Between Trump and now this i'm hopeful for the future.

The bigger question is, how are you doing Roosh and when can we expect a lecture tour in Oz?

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
Great actually. It was an education I'll never forget. I may have to share my thoughts in the "Biggest Red Pill You Ever Took" thread.

My worldview, both locally & on Western society at large has been quite completely transformed. Having read Vox Day's "SJW's Always Lie" around the time the meetups were announced & then having it all played out in real life was nothing short of exhilarating.

I have never had life so blatantly slap the truth into me as I have over the past 3 weeks. My respect for this community & resolve to adhere to the principles of Neomasculinity has never been stronger.

Roosh, you magnificent bastard, I salute you (& your family).

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
I didn't participate in these meetings or the ones over the summer. This is mainly due to distance, and they were held at inconvenient times for me. But I closely monitored the two situations as they happened, and if there is one thing that I learned it's that I will never attend a meeting if it's ran the same way it was ran over the summer and three weeks ago.
  • Summer meetups - Anyone can buy a ticket and be informed of the location a few days before it happens.
  • ROK meetups - The date, time and location were completely public.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the way you and the uppers handled things. It's just that with all of the international hate we've gained, we now can't be as open about where meetings are going to be held. I'd be petrified that my picture would be taken and it would always be out there that I'm a part of a "pro-rape" group of men. I'd have a hard time getting employed. I guarantee you that I'm not the only one refusing to attend because of this reason.

But attending a meetup is definitely something that I want to do in the future.

I think that at the very least, forum meetups need to be separate and more discrete than ROK meetups. The time and location cannot be public. Everything needs to be handled in a professional, organized and confidential manner. Information passed via burner email accounts. Roosh and the uppers somehow determine only those forum members that can be trusted. Video interviews may even be required.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
Handling it pretty good.

All this negative energy just makes me stronger Smile

I am opening up my "red-pill" logic / diatribes much more often these days with family, friends and even people I just met and spent tonight doing just that with a Canadian, Slovakian & Estonian who (to my pleasant suprise) were highly supportive of my claims about the toxicity of Western culture, the creeping extremist Socialism/Marxism etc.

Still, sat there tonight looking on in disgust at a bunch of UK fat students sitting in a bar here living it up - every girl was overweight except a couple of them and the beta Millennials were seemingly soft as toast. Ughhh.

I'm not sure if any older generation has looked upon a younger generation and thought how hopeless they are and how humanity is so clearly not in good hands.....it's clearly not, and I'm going to spend the rest of my life trying to fix this mess even if it kills me.

If these SJWs think we're somehow despondent/giving up they have another thing coming.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
Roosh, I think a lot of guys were a little down when the meetups were canceled, but the DC press conference changed the mood completely. You could physically feel the forum relax and have a good laugh with you at the insanity of it all. That was a big deal.

Just as important was your thoughtful consideration for the well-being of forum members. When you opened the forum for edits and trusted in guys' judgment to do what they needed to do to protect their identity without disfiguring the forum, and when you did the mass PM delete to address any remaining concerns, everyone here could see that you have their back in ways that matter. Thanks again. I hope you will continue your work on hardening the defenses, first and foremost.

I think the forum has a great feel right now -- it feels refreshed and reinvigorated. The one thing that worries me -- down the line -- is the possibility of a serious letdown and darkening of the mood if Trump doesn't go all the way. But we'll deal with that if and when that time comes.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
It taught me to take internet anonymity more seriously, and I learned of important options that are out there which I didn't know about before.

When I first read about the global meetup, it did strike me that the secret code-word and location weren't very secret, but I chuckled about it and didn't think it really mattered. I never dreamed the kind of response from the SJW/feminists would be what it was. I don't think anybody did. It reminded me of Hurricane Katrina. Everyone knows there's the possibility of a storm, but no one really believes it could be so bad, in fact we would rather believe that it couldn't.

Roosh did a remarkable job stewarding us through it.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
I also monitored the situation and after making a risk assessment decided not to attend, particularly as I live in one of the anglosphere countries that had the meetings under maximum surveillance.

When high level members of the government direct the police (and presumably security services) to monitor counter-culture groups it is a warning that if you work for the system in any way you need to be really careful with your association.

In particular for those members/ROK readers out there with security clearances there is need to distance yourself.

I'm sure there's a few guys out there who are concerned about this sort of thing.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
As I explained to a few other guys on here:

I have been approached by a handful of men who know of me, have heard me talk, know of my general attitude and demeanor, but other than that do not know me personally.

Since the blow up, they have approached me. They knew nothing of RVF or ROK but followed the lynching of Roosh in the media with interest. While it gave others a feeling of not being alone, which is great, it also gave many of us a certain amount of power.

It also showed just how unreasonable and disorganized these people are. They are tying their own ropes, making their own nooses. We are just handing them the tools.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
If you want to know who really stand with you just throw a turd into the fan and see how people react. Some people I knew at uni were on board with arresting people who contribute to ROK articles and those who have purchased the Bang books.

I saw the media lying on easily checkable facts, as usual and it then got me thinking. Over the past 3 years I've become aware of the MSM doing this, how many other things did they mislead me into?

In short, I learned I made the right decision in not taking social media seriously nor those who I hung with at University. Its best to keep your cards close to your chest and look around.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
It's motivated me even more to move forward with my plans to move out of the US and earn a portable income. Despite witnessing the outrage for last year's world tour, it surprised me how quickly this thing blew up within a week of the meetups. After this, I'm even more careful what I put online. It also pisses me off at how much we've been lied to our entire lives, and how much of a shit show this has become. I just have to remind myself to channel that anger into constructive actions that help me move forward with my plans.

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
I was triggered so hard by the whole ordeal that I've got PTSD now and I can't go out of my house for fear of being oppressed. It's so bad now that whenever I see a fat woman I piss myself. I mean not like a full bladder release, just a little bit of piss, but it's still frustrating because unless I go change right afterwards I'll start getting that old person stale piss smell which is nasty. Except doing that means I have to do laundry constantly otherwise I'll run out of boxers, which is pretty bad for the environment since it wastes water. But then again adult diapers would be bad for the environment as well, so I'm really at a loss now beyond some sort of creative solution involving a funnel connected to a mason jar and sitting very still...

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
Motivated me more to become location independent, or, if the cancer spreads to every corner of the earth and there is no escape, some other, erm, less optimistic stuff. Generally the recent hysteria has opened the eyes of lots of men. Or given better sight to men whose eyes were already open. The press conference was awesome man, both ponderous and light hearted at the same time. A real morale booster for everyone who has an interest in, well, ultimately, truth.

I'm more concerned about you having to go back to the states than anything. 99% of the users on the forum are not being hounded by militant feminist mobs or being falsely accused of rape (at the moment anyway), you on the other hand... I would go back to worrying about yourself first and foremost... It's not selfish, but rational given the situation.

(BortimusPrime LOL cheers for giving me a good chuckle late in the night)

RE: How are you holding up after the meetup outrage?
Like many people mentioned at the time, I got a wakeup call how utterly corrupt and untrustworthy the MSM are. I already saw them as biased, but the level of shameless lying was eye opening.

I'm looking to implement the ideas you've been posting recently, about using a VPN for browsing, and being more discreet about my manosphere reading and commenting.

I was really looking forward to the meetup, and I will be trying to arrange some meetups in the weeks ahead.

I see the direction that most of the world is going at this time, and it really bothers me. It's important to me to connect with this community where sanity remains.

I am not anti-fragile right now, but I'm looking to pay off my bills and develop some location independence over the next few years. I'm going to be using burn emails and other hard-to-trace methods to participate in the manosphere. I need to avoid public attention, for now.

I'm the tower of power, too sweet to be sour. I'm funky like a monkey. Sky's the limit and space is the place!

I'm pretty sure we're all fine. SJWs gonna SJW so I don't think anyone was that surprised by what happened or too down because of it.

The important question is did you send a copy of that presser to Trump's campaign? At this point I suspect he might feel forced to hire you.

It opened my eyes how lucky I am to have moved out of the west. Being a location independent entrepreneur is the future of men when US and Europe are becoming so hostile to masculinity.
I did feel a bit sad when the meetups were canceled but then I realized that I anyway meeting a lot of forum members on a regular basis.
However, this whole drama did made me realize that I am on the right side of the culture war.

I just miss seeing all these cool people, wish there wasn't so much distance to travel to these meetups.

"In primitive times women clung to the strongest males for protection. They did not take any chances with a nobody, low-status male who did not have the means to house them, protect them, and feed them and their offspring. High-status males displayed their prowess through their kick-ass attitudes. They were not afraid to think for themselves and make their own decisions. They did not give a crap about what other people in the tribe thought. That kind of attitude is associated with the kind of men women find attractive. It may not be politically correct to say but who cares. It is common sense and it's true- and always will be."
