That is right on the money. Whenever I visit a startup incubator or conference, I discover that 99% of the apps are of the mindless "it's popular because it's popular" type.

If I had money and status like Zuckerberg I would wear thin soft v necks, loose fitting cardigans/bathrobes, draw-string shorts, and flip flops basically 24/7.

He's a paper billionaire. If he sold off all his shares of FB, the stock would crash and he'd be worth a fraction of of the 20 Billion or whatever his stock value is. But his paper assets also allow him to get credit and loans from banks at hundreds of millions of dollars, so he's worth at least 10 Billion in my opinion.

I'm not sure if I would dress similarly, but if I was that rich and somebody took a photo of me in that position you would see the head of a least one woman between my legs depending on my mood or time of day.

Just because he *has* an ugly 4 for a girl *doesn't* mean he can't get a harem of 9's. If you've got that, then why would you listen to individual girls semi-hamstering about how they wouldn't like you about your style?

The style fanboys don't seem to understand that it's a means to an end. You care about impressing other people and selling yourself- so that's why you put in the work because the ends justify the means. Mark has already got the ends- so why does he care what you all think? The means is rather annoying- stylish clothes are less comfortable and more logistically annoying to try and put together.

I feel you completely but how low does one go? Mark has got man boobs and he's not even in his 30s yet so his metabolism should still be on point. To be honest, it's an IT thing, I'm in the field and when I go to conventions, the geeks there are dressed in ludicrously lame outfits even though they make well into six figures. Unless they are in IT sales. The developers, programmers, sysadmins, network engineers are decked out in Walmart gear. If you come rocking any nice threads, you might get cast out socially and guys will wonder why you wasted your money looking nice and getting a haircut when you could have spent that money on beefing up your home machine so you can run multiple virtual machines from one box.

P.S. I'm open to correction from the resident IT pros here on general IT dress sense but I've gone to major conventions in two countries and it's the same comic book loving attire that I see.

I would say, go as low as you want to on *style*. But you have to keep your health in check and be strict about that.

I didn't actually know IT guys were that anti-style. I'm only anti-style because I don't like doing it myself- and before RVF/redpillsphere I would judge other people only mildly worse for being stylish. I would never cast someone out for it though. They should be earning enough money that they really shouldn't be judging people for spending on even what they think are "lame" hobbies.

This is true at conventions for sure.

When it comes to general IT staff at companies I've worked, they've generally been normal guys, and the rough-neck type at that. The blue-collar of the white-collar world. We are more at home drinking beers, eating gut bombs, and talking about broads and hanging with the maintenance and facilities guys than we are go to chipotle and starbucks with the software engineers and other office types.

Conventions, though, that's where all the nerds come out.

The weird case with Zuckerberg is that he is the kind of guy who has the status and notoriety where he should be deferring to a personal stylist for when he's going to be seen at events.

Regardless, the above sentiment is right. He is just a standard nerd with a lot of money. We should be impressed he's not wearing anime shirts and khaki shorts and high socks.

Not to start a brawl with anyone here but Zuckerberg is a genius, he built a company with 1.59B users and $17B revenues growing each year, employing 13,000 people! We may not like his product but he has done something that every entrepreneur aims to emule. I would kill just to have 1% of his success in business.

Without knowing the guy I am pretty sure he does not care about his style, he is obsessed with "making the world more open and connected", whatever that means.

For some people banging, gaming or being cool are not the ends be all, they want to build something that lasts, even if it is just a blue webpage, an electric car, a search engine or a self-driving car.

Cuckerbergs success strikes me as a right time right place one in a million event. His complete lack of game, low test physiology and total subservience to the globalist imperative gives it away. He is a genius amongst code monkeys and a total loser in every other aspect of life.

I disagree. He supposedly had multiple seven figure job offers as a really young kid before Facebook happened. The guy would have killed it without Facebook. I agree that he is a total loser in every other aspect of life, but in that one important aspect, he couldn't be doing much better.

Edit: Let me amend that. The offers supposedly came before Facebook took off. He may very well have already had the idea for Facebook and he may have taken some steps toward launching Facebook, but at the time of the offers, he hadn't had any real success with Facebook.

Internet porn has already taken a lot of men out of the dating market, but now with virtual-reality sex, I bet thrice as many men will permanently leave the dating market.

Both online games and internet porn are already so compelling and addictive, a lot of men don't even bother to approach women or go to the gym, ever.

Once VR becomes as ubiquitous as smartphones and ipads, I think game will be easier than ever, and women that want real sex will have to compete harder for the few men that venture out into the real world. They'll have to step up their game, get in better shape, or live in VR fantasy worlds along side de-sexualized neckbeards omegas.

In 2020, all you will have to do is leave your house, and you'll be getting Casanova level notches.

I can't wait for VR games and VR porn to hit the market! The coming void in the dating market will raise the SMV of any sexually available male.

Get ready, pussy paradise will come to you, as long as you avoid virtual reality addiction and approach.
