Joining a fraternity is one of the best things you can do. You will have tight friendships you can draw on for a life-time, but if you're joining a fraternity for networking, and resume building than you're doing it for the wrong reasons. Does your fraternity even haze?

A college kid should find the fraternity that hazes the most and has the toughest pledge-program. Those fraternities tend to be tighter and are in it for brotherhood. Not for some gold star they can put on their resume. When I was pledge-master I made it my mission to weed guys like that out.

We didn't have cell phones when I was in college so I don't know if we would've done something as gay as sending good-morning texts, but we did make our pledges do some ridiculous things so who knows, maybe we would've done that too.

Use the opportunity to develop your text game and see what works. Hopefully your task involves texting many different women and not just one. That way you can see what works and what doesn't in a more general way.

You're texts should be back-handed in nature. Say something nice, but then take it away somehow. Be romantic, but then make a joke of being romantic so she's not sure if you're being serious or not.

They used to haze but they don't anymore, because our university Chancellor or whatever the fuck his name is made it illegal to haze or drink at the chapter houses or the chapter can be eliminated from the schools affiliation. We have annex houses for the typical fraternity shenanigans.

No it's not just resumes, that's just a plus that goes along with it. The girls the brotherhood the leadership roles parties etc. I am already making some awesome friends with my pledge class as well as all of the brothers. they are some chill mofos and have a really tight brotherhood and still know how to rage.

They have already thrown some sick fucking parties and i have gotten laid each time with the sorority girls that came so don't worry. Its not a bunch of pussy ass betas trust me. Every fraternity in my city makes their pledges get compliment girls its not just limited to mine. So that's why I thought it would be cool to get some ideas from y'all.


Yes that's exactly what I am trying to do. Work on my text game and experiment with different types of texts. I have thought of a few good ones and a couple told my pledge father that I was killing it so that's good. Also some sorority girl like special requested me to be her compliment pledge so that'll be chill too

I'm trying to be cute but obviously a joke and not just some thirsty lil bitch. Apparently I'm doing alright but like I said ideas are welcome.

JT, honest question here.

Why the fuck are you wasting time online? You should be getting laid every night with these sorostute chicks and pledges. Every minute you spend reading forums about texting you're not spending time gaming hot 18-yr old pussy.

HUGE MISTAKE. There will NEVER be a better time to bang the HOTTEST chicks you can see with no consequences.

If there was one thing I could change in my life it would be to have back all the time I completely wasted in college [I don't mean getting fucked up with buddies] and use it solely on gaming chicks.

Every day it seems like college life just keeps getting more ridiculous. You should not participate in this crap. Back in the old days you would (maybe) compliment someone on a job well done, or in recognition of the effort a chick put in to look great. Then Facebook made it all electronic, with no actual face-to-face communication. Now you don't even know who you're supposed to be complimenting? Life's too short to participate in such crap. Go do something useful. The fact that all of the frats at your school are doing this is disheartening. You should transfer, or quit school and go into sales or something.

In most places hazing is illegal at the State level and has been for decades.

No worries, if you connect with the guys and feel you're building tight bonds with them that's great. Those friendship's will last a lifetime and the access to girls is, well you know already.

Bro when im online or on the computer its because i either have my computer out already for homework or late at night being a dumbass and not sleeping haha. But i understand where that question comes from. When i am not doing school work or working out i am gaming chicks or riding my motorcycle dont worry, i dont just sit here read this shit and not apply it.

PLus i guess this is for soroity relations so i can be friends with some and im sure ill bang the ones that arent friends. always good to have some friends in high places if you know what i mean.

I come on here to get advice from people that are wiser and been in the game longer. I am actively trying to work on my game skills (unlike my friends) Just because i have to do this compliment thing with girls i have never seen doesnt mean im slacking when it comes to going out and finding new girls in person. Currently im not hitting the bars and drinking as much as i was because i am trying to focus on my fitness. just wish i had more buddies to day game with.

As far as this particular task it is not a choice and although it may be beta i can not just opt out if i want it, but dgaf ill do some compliments make em a little more risque over time. and then when i meet them and they think i will wait on them hands and feet they will realize real quick haha.

I'm definitely getting laid much more then most of my homies/roommates but im always on the grind to get better which why i am on this forum. I have a girl coming over in a hour probably alot to do with the things i have read on this forum. :]

I just wanted some good advice for compliments as far as using those backhanded ones idk if that would be chill im supposed to be fucking cute i guess but ill use those on some girls that dont have as much importance.

Cool. But listen to an older dude just so I can drive this home. If the laptop's out, do your homework, and of course come here for advice. Don't waste even a minute online.

Those minutes and the hours spent not sleeping should be used for: sleeping, gaming, gym, building social circle.

You can never get this time back. Ever. I went to a school where the girls are ranked in every top 5 list ever made and I weep to think about the stupid time-wasting stuff I did. And I went out 4 nights a week as it was.

don't settle for Good when you can have Great.

My inspiration would be Heartiste. I consider him the master of neg texting game.

Out of my game my gentle backhanded compliment ability is probably my strongest suit other than closing. Although I am only really good at it once a girl has bitten and shown strong interest. I am terrible at breaking a bitch shield with them in approaches.

I get it from having a family that backhands each other constantly growing up. Zero easy compliments for any achievement.

BTW boys compliments have been going better and better. been implementing all of your ideas slowly working in cocky sarcasm backhanded witt and ballsiness and i have been told by my pledge fathers that the girls are loving me. The texts have changed from just compliment to flirt banter text and i one wants to ride on my motorcycle. Ill filll you in on some updates later.
