I couldn't read this. Seriously. Not because of disgust, but because the sentences are giving me headaches. If I had five cents for every parenthesis she used I think I'd have enough money to pay her fucking rent for a week. This clown is in her mid-twenties, with an English Literature degree, and can't compose a sentence.

Women aren't meant to be on their own like that, managing every aspect of their own lives.

That's why their parents arranged them to be married off at a young age. Even if you were poor, the young couple could take care of eachother to some extent. These single women are going to get a brutal lesson, especially when they cross 30. The social conventions were designed to protect women once they age, who will be especially fucked since they scoffed at the idea of marriage and being a wife. Now they can face the cold world on their own.

You can survive off min. wage if you have no dependants and your student debt is not crushing. A small box studio can cost you $600, and renting a room can be cheaper. You can eat rice, frozen veggies, eggs, and tuna each day. If you are poor and pay more than 60-70% of your wages on rent your stupid. There is always a cheaper option. The golden rule when your broke is to never let rent be more than one pay check (which eliminates being short for rent). Full time min wage will at least get $500 bucks in your pocket each pay day, that can find you some type of shelter. No excuses. I've heard of people renting closets and coaches out of desperation.

You can find a new job in 2 weeks if your serious. Instability should not last more than 2 months. It is always transition phases that burn you (new expenses from a new place/job, etc), never the day to day grind. No excuses.

At my worst days when I was flat broke my living expenses and food were capped at $800 a month. I was still eating nice homemade meals of chicken legs, rice, roasted veggies and could afford a few beers to get the edge off a shitty work day.

This girl is dumb.

Why isn't she freelancing? You can make easy money copy editting for students, or doing Fiver/Elance. She can sell her damn car. Pets are expensive, get rid of the cat.
