The easiest way to figure out what clothes to get is the same as to figure out what haircut to get.

First, you recognize your features - if you're talking hair, you study how much hair you have, how does it grow, what color it is.

Then, you look for a celebrity that resembles your facial features and hair type. Google that person and see the different haircuts and stylings they've worn before. Analyze how congruent and feasible they are with you and your lifestyle (for example, I won't spend more than 5 minutes fixing my hair, so anything over that is out) and make a pick.

Take the pic to the barber and tell them you want that haircut, and ask them to teach you how to style it like that.

Most big time celebrities have a whole team working with them to maximize their look, so by doing the process above you shortcut months or years of experimentation.

The hair style you come up with can be the final thing or the "safe base" from which you expand and taylor and tweak to your personal preference. For example, you like the haircut, but you want it a little bit shorter because it suits your face better; or it's too extreme and you want a more muted version because your workplace doesn't allow for it, and so on.

So in your case - who are the biggest athletic vampires out there that attract hipster/alternative chick?

#1 is easy: Robert Pattinson - has literally played a famous vampire. Girls 18-25 LOVE that look.

Other guys I can think of that could be similar: DJ Martin Garrix and actor Ed Westwick.

Studying those 4 guys, what are the main takeaways for the vampire look?

- Chiseled face: low body fat percentage
- Very light skin; hair medium to dark colored
- Messy textured hair
- Heavy use of accessories, like bracelets and long necklaces
- Layers
- Use of bulky jackets to make the upper body larger while prefering slim fitting lower body pieces, which make it look smaller. The whole idea is to create a top heavy sillouete
- Use of shorter or longer jackets to create depth
- With the exception of Westwick, who is more flamboyant and bold with his use of colors, Pattinson and Garrix prefer darker ensembles (black, grey), with muted colors that favour their complexion (dark green, dark blue, brown/tan) and occasional light colored pieces to make the look pop (white sneakers, burgundy beanie)

That should get you started.

The boots are similar to Saint Laurent Paris' cropped jodhpur. Very expensive, but places like Topman, Zara, Urban Outfitters etc. offer cheapo alternatives (though the quality's not real great.)

His T-shirt looks stupid (what is that, some kind of Underarmor polyester workout tee?) but the rest of the outfit is pretty good. I'd change the boots to sand colored and a white tee, but slim black jeans and a good leather jacket is a good staple look.

^Don't have the time to watch those videos, but I agree heavily with the quote. Dressing well is relative to the man wearing the clothes. Whatever he feels makes him look powerful is what he should wear(of course within reason as dressing like Mystery won't get you anywhere).

Half of it isn't dressing like shit(how most guys dress here stateside) and the other half is how it affects you. This couples well with certain choice pieces a man wears or how he presents his personality, but nonetheless. The clothes don't make the man. The man makes the clothes.

I've also noticed now I have settled into a certain style and unless I catch a piece I really like. I'm not going to be changing much to it for a while.

These are killer right now. Love rocking them with shorts or pants. Recently got one very similar to this but navy with pink flowers and green. Wore it once. Women loved it. But I'm a cheap bastard and get these from TJ Maxxx or outlets. Usually can be had for $15-35.
