I live in a tropical area so from now until October its going to be hot. Buying good looking tank tops would be a bargain for the mirrin' the chicks do. I wear some Nike dryfit tank tops to the gym and salsa class and at class I get plenty of mirrin so Id be crazy not to bring that to the outside world.

I want some tank tops that would look good with nicer trousers, something very light grey. I wear a lot of light grey shorts and pants in the summer. Matches leather shoes, loafers, and black sport shoes if I wear those.

Any recommendations? I looked at Dolce and Gabanna but the stuff for this summer is gay as hell. Pineapples and jazz themed with trumpets. Ugly colors. I will check out some higher end malls and see.

Doesn't have to be super expensive, but something that looks cool, not just workout clothes.

I almost always use cheap logoless one color (black) tanktops, which are actually exercise clothes but the ones with a not so open chest cut.
I do use one with a big dog paw logo sometimes Tongue but in general I think the most you can do with a tank top is have it textured, an image just overloads it visually as it is meant to make your body stand out.

RE: Fashion and Style Lounge
I live in a large Chinese city with a serious mall collection. I went to several malls, some high end. Results for tank tops were very disappointing.

D & G designs were really gay: pineapples and trumpets. CK fabric was 100% cotton and coarse, plus only had just black and white. Armani Exchange had the best fabric but the shape of the shirt wasn't very casual.

Nike has the best tank tops with the fabric being incredibly soft, the neck and shape the best but always has a HUGE NIKE on it. Some of their sports wear stuff is even better not but casual at all. I found a Jordan tank top that was great and then I saw the back where it was J O R D A N in big letters. On the front just has the jumpman, smallish.

I checked out everywhere. Zara, H and M, Vans, Gap, Abercrombie and Fitch. I bought one from Uniqlo but its a ripped tank top and not that great. A little too thick.

Im going to hope that once the really summer clothes come out for Nike there will be something.

Who would have thought buying a not shitty looking tank top for men would be so hard. Every other kind of clothing there are thousands of options.

Ridiculous price tag.

At that price point you're paying for the brand name. People in those circles are often able to recognize that shirt just from the design because "if you know you know."

@Redbeard You can find a lot of cool Hawaiian/party shirts for non stupid prices. Just search well. And make sure they are made of rayon/viscose/silk.

While we are at it, I picked this up tonight. My last main gave me a $100 gift card for Valentines Day, so I splurged a little.

Its from a French label like the St Laurent, for about a 1/3 of the price.

@Redbeard and Vaun,

Bonobos has a ton of cool styles under US$100. Good fabric and multiple fits according to your preference.

I couldn't save one of the photos.

I want to consider something like a high-low with tank tops.

Simple but nicer tank tops with good looking pants and either nicer all white shoes like common projects or single monks in suede. Probably with a gold necklace and a leather wrap around bracelet.

I think that is an ideal, masculine summer vibe. I wear shorts too but Id rather stick to very minimal styles with extremely light weight pants.

Here is another look that seems good. White pants with a lighter colored tank top.

My arms and shoulders are bigger than this guys.

I've never owned a short-sleeve button up and doubt that I ever will. Just don't see myself buying a nice collared shirt that doesn't have long sleeves and could not be worn with a tie and/or jacket. If it's warm or more casual then I'll just roll the sleeves up.

Move to the South. I'm wearing one right now.

Perfect for if you want to go to a bar...club...whatever. Very versatile.

Looking for some input on what to pair with these shirts.

They're all white or white with other accents and I'm not sure what color pants go with a light top.

I like 1st and 2nd shirt. Honestly I do not see what kind of pants could look good with the 3d one, not my style.

The plain white you can pair with almost every color, but since it seems made from full cotton and has a rough/casual look, it would be good with some dark blue jeans, and brown leather belt and brown shoes.

The first is even more casual, would also look good with blue jeans. perhaps neutral blue.

Found these brown boots from the same company, they seem very unique to me, definitely not a mass produced style. I'm thinking they would pair nicely with the plain white tee like you suggested. Can you recommend a brand of jeans? Something in the mid range, say, $60-80.

I'm fancying these shirts for an illusionist street performance (Though I do like the style, stupid mystery wanna be that I am)

This one would go nice for symmetry that wouldn't draw attention from the tricks
[Image: 71wePm4b-5L._UY700_.jpg]

But I do like the flair in these two as well:

All shirts are pretty relaxed colors. You could wear most anything on the bottom of those (except dress pants as those are all casual shirts). Dark blue jeans for all, or probably even brown/tan chinos.

Contrast moderately in summer; black trousers with white shirt will be penguin, and both white will be cult.

The young, pale, clean cut pretty boy look has treated me well in Asia the last couple of years, not only does it cast a wide net over there but most of my direct competition were complete pussies and/or broke flabby English teachers. The fact that it didn't mesh at all with my dark, degenerate personality didn't really matter. This is NOT the case now that I'm back in the West, the incongruence is way too much. I'll be in an LTR most of the time but even so I like to sneak a SNL with a hipster/alternative chick in every few weeks so I'll have to add some edgier/darker vibes to my wardrobe. Anybody got any ideas or links? The time to go full athletic vampire mode has come.

You'd be wanting body fitting crimson or purple with black tones in your threads and low cut boots.
Since it's hipster chicks you're looking for and you want the vampire boy look, an ascot would blow their minds off
