I dislike those "social experiment" videos at youtube. They have a catchy title to make it sound more sophisticate. But there is no science proof behind this, its not an actual research, not a real experiment where you gain any knowledge. They just do something and film the reaction. Nothing more. They add nothing how people can prevent something like this or how they could react.
There is real science out there, the Milgram Experiment, the Stanford Prison Experiment, there is the case of Murder of Kitty Genovese and many other stuff about social behaviour.

In the video they make it look like a fight of a couple. Well I've seen some "arguments" of couples in public, you know who get the betting in the end? The white knight. From the guy and he even get insults from the girl that got hit by her abusive bf before.

From appearance alone, this live acting scenario seems to be about strangers bumping into each other and the man harassing her.

Looking at OP's video again, and having been in Poland for over a year now, it makes more sense to me why only the Polish guy bothered.

He comes from a more conservative culture where white-knighting might still actually be worth it.
