As a teen growing up in the 1980's, I thought Lita was super cool. Here was a woman who really rocked--rocked as well as any of the men of the hair bands.

Musical people sometimes fail as parents, and she wouldn't be the first one. Considering her songs now, I'm surprised she has a violent streak.

She'll be at the local book store next week. I may go see her. Here's "Kiss Me Deadly."
