We have banned my stepdaughter from our home permanently and she has been sent to live with her father in another state. My wife and I also agreed to completely disinherit her from our wills. It has been a very painful situation. All of us started therapy.
The realization of how badly I ruined my son’s life hit me when I picked up his first prescription of anti-depressants today. I bawled my eyes out in my car.

It's sad but at this point, because of the sheer, innumerable amount of false rape stories like these... anytime I hear about sexual assault or rape and there is no overwhelming evidence to support the accusation, i am more inclined to assume the woman is a liar. These women would rather see the men in their lives burn in flames than take responsibility for their poor life choices, including sexual encounters. Because to women, it's far more important their reputation remains intact than anyone find out the truth.

Unfortunately, the rest of the world isn't on our level.

Agreed in comparison to his particular situation.

However the point I was trying to make is that "you don't call the law on your family" is BS in my opinion. Hence the "family is quite often overrated" statement.

Family, like siblings, nephews, nieces etc, is family because you're (somewhat) biological related. From a real 'family-man' perspective I should love these people unconditionally, which I call bullocks. Some of my closest friends I consider more like family than a lot of my 'real' family members.

Calling the cops on your own family is the last resort. Basically you triple or cuadruple check what happened, and try to solve it inside the family. Heck, it would be hard to belive unless you caught him in the act, or he confess to you. If real, the story poster deserve to be hated by his son.

If you were to catch a teenage son doing something bad and stupid like that, I maintain that you shouldn't call the "Law" on him. You should kick his ass hard, drag him by the ear to the nearest Army recruitment center, and make him sign for 2 years (for example), not to come back home until he has cleaned his act (no more porn, drugs, etc...). Why involve perilous strangers who would flat destroy your whole family over this situation? Fix the situation yourself.

Being a Beta White Knight is a health hazard. It often affects the person's own progeny. In this case, a fucking stepdaughter's verbal allegations were put in front of the words of his own son.

He chose to believe another woman who had no proof other than her words. This is what happens when we accept every rape allegation as true, innocent men get fucked. And also, look at the reason she lied. She was fucking and did not want them to find out, so she invented that she was abused. She had no problem to destroy her own step-brother's life as long as she was left off the hook. Typical woman nowadays, it's getting even more common by the minute.

I hope the son gets well, I hope his father lives enough to see his son being successful and living a good life without ever talking to him again.

I caught this on reddit as well, very sad story.

Falling out of college is a huge emotional blow to kids. I failed out of lawschool and felt like killing myself. It seems silly now. It is really easy to fall into that trap of feeling like a failure and that everything is over.

Whether this story is true or not is a moot point; but more and more I'm thinking there are people, whether collectively & coordinated, or independently of their own volition, that try to win "hearts and minds" via stories like these. Identity politics psyops, basically. The accusations of "troll" and the account being banned would imply that, in this case.

But the fact is, the more people that read this story, the more it ultimately helps our cause in the long run; and whether it's real or not, you'll have a segment of the population that believes it and are a little more doubtful of the next accusation they hear, ask a few more questions and try to think a little more logically/rationally about it. Maybe they dig a little deeper, do some googling or research into why someone would do a false accusation and it opens them up to the broader world of red pill, or men's rights, or neomasculinity.

Identity politics psyops - where stories like these don't gain traction for the other side on reddit (ourside of r/twoxchromosomes, r/relationships or similar hugbox subreddits) but are much more successful for, and incrementally assist, our side. These stories are the counterpoint to how the media tries to craft narratives for people to consume, and how now Twitter is going full-SJW in determining what users will and won't see with its proposed new timeline. Reddit remains one of the most-visited websites on the internet and the best opportunity to craft these types of mass-readership stories though the ability to get these tales out, like on twitter, will probably be "algorithmically" decreased or eliminated in the near future... but maybe I'm overthinking things.

This reminds me of a dear prudence story I saw on slate with Emily Yoeffe (sp). Emily is an older woman, and gives very straight and strongly opinionated advice. Sometimes the advice is very blue pill, other times it is very red pill. So; A woman wrote in to ask how she could make amends with her older sister.

The older sister at 17 in grade 12 had fallen in love with her English teacher, who was 22. Due to the closeness in age the parents first instinct was to not knee jerk get the guy in jail, but to do some investigating. The parents talked to her, talk to the teacher, and since they were so close in age, and were very serious, decided that they should be extremely discreet until the older sister graduated and they could get married.

This is an example of keeping "solving a problem internally in the family" and not involving the law.

However.

The younger sister, for reasons she did not adequately describe, thought the situation was very wrong and informed the school and police. The teacher was fired and sent to jail for statutory rape, and after he came out of jail after a year, was put on a permanent sex offender list. The older sister stuck by the guy and married him, and they now have two children. The guy obviously, has had a very hard time building a career and finances for them have been hard.

The younger sister, now 10 years later, is asking for advice on how to make amends. Says she has tried repeatedly to apologize, but the older sister has refused to talk to her for 5 years, and will not come to any event in which the younger sister is present. Emily's advice was to put it bluntly - you're fucked and never going to be forgiven. Some commenters inthe posts below the article said the only way to would be to buy forgiveness for a very large sum of money, and even then, would probably still be rejected.

This is an example of a jealous younger sibling, in a moment of youth, permanently fucking up someone else's life for very trivial and fleeting reasons.

Many traditional societies have disownment as a standard punishment for severe infractions. This is still practiced by Indians for example. My indian friends tell me that they would be disowned for a period of time if they married an unsuitable person. According to them marrying outside of their caste would results in a disownment until there were children, while marrying outside their race entirely would result in a permanent disownment. That might be a little strict but I would have no problem disowning my child for some of the aforementioned offenses. I am 50/50 on the reddit post though. It may very well be a troll, but whatever the case, it is an extremely effective way to make people mad and outraged. I agree, this ultimately helps our cause.

Involving cops in anything in your family is God damned dumb as fuck. I would disown my family. The public opinion this kid has to overcome just to get his life started, putting him behind at least a year from his plans...
