There was a gas attack in Syria a few years ago. Later it had be mostly "moderate" rebels. About this fake girl twitter. In the Arab spring there was a guy from the US with a fake blog / twitter who pretended to be a lesbian girl. I remember the lies about the Iraq war in the 90s, where they said Saddams soldiers kill Kuawaitian babies. Assad is for sure not a nice guy, but all the "moderate" rebels are mainly jihadi Muslims. And the revolutions in the middle east show, it don't get better when one dictator vanish. It get worse and the fanatic Muslims gain power.

Turkey was kind of involved in the gas attack some years ago in Syria. They use the Islamist groups to fight the Kurds. The west work so hard to paint Assad as the bad guy and the rebels as the good guys that want to liberate the poor Syrian citizens. Well mostly they are mercenaries that want to rise their Islamic Caliphate. The West has some very dirty hands in all of this. China and Russia support Assad because they have seen how the Western countries, the Neocons want to increase their influence. Poor Assad did not agree to sign some pipline going trough his country. Same like in Egypt with the Suez crisis. We can talk about the stupid Muslims / Arabs all day long. They are just the dogs. Its the Western Neo Con governments that push it all.

Now, do I believe Trump was actually swayed into action by this particular Appeal to the Pathetic? Not at all. It's simply a convenient excuse to reverse previously-stated policy, based upon the previously-seeded idea to the voting population that 'he isn't heartless'.

Two thoughts.
Would a female commander (even though a commander) be more able to rationalize a situation.
Or would emotive propaganda cause knee-jerk reactions from said commander?

Also.
Makes the ineffectual strike on the now operational Syrian airfield, make more sense knowing a chick was at the helm...

As of right now I don't believe it. Not in an invasion as in Iraq, meant to topple Assad. We're not going to war with Russia casually. Infowars cries "the sky is falling" too often.

I would believe in a ramping up of US presence in Syria occurring to fight ISIS and we already know that US Special Forces have been operating there since Obama.
