Sports illustrated has officially jumped the shark. I remember furtively sneaking the swimsuit issue out of the mailbox before the parents found it. Now they are promoting obesity as sexy. How orwellian!

that's the maddening thing about the 57-year old "model" in the upcoming swimsuit issue. there are women out there who work hard at taking care of themselves and are still beautiful at that age. sigourney weaver and sofia loren come to mind. if they insist on putting a woman in her fifties in there, they could at least find one who still has a decent figure. or just bring back christie like you suggested, but no.

it will be interesting to see how this issue sells.
