I'm doing fine in NYC at the moment and my family is safe. My sites are seeing only slightly above-normal traffic levels. The media stories are just a trickle now and Google Trends shows that I'm quickly returning to pre-outrage search levels. The worst of the storm has definitely passed.



I expect some hail mary's from the media in the next 3 weeks, but nothing on the scale of what we already experienced. I expect to open the forum back up on Sunday and take the forum out of emergency mode after moving some current threads in EE to the private section. You can still edit old posts during this time.

So, announce a new meet up date. No point in dropping off the radar. We just need better security protocols and certainly a better acknowledgement than "Do you know where a pet store is?"

I had one idea which was to use a cypher to post information openly here, at Rooshv or on ROK, but we only pass the key on in person or via a temporary or secure email account to people you know damn well are not sleepers. By the time the cypher gets cracked or compromised the meet ups will have taken place and there will be networking going on IRL.

When the traffic levels are back to typical, can you post a few reports or graphs?

I am curious as to when the spike started and how long it lasted.

I also noticed that the number of browsers on the site seems to be way down, or is that because during the whole event they browsers were way up there and only just now are going back to normal levels?

I've asked this in a thread about a meetup in the Netherlands as well.

I know these SJW groups will jump on anything. But why are the meetups being targeted by Antifa (I'm assuming this stands for antifacists)?
Aren't they busy enough already trying to control the increasing amount of people that are upset/angry/annoyed over opening up new immigrant facilities due to the immigrant crisis?

Really shocked that someone actually got physically attacked because of this. Terrible shit. This just further drives home what I've learned.

The biggest takeaway I have gotten from this:

I have never been this close to a story that was dressed up, misconstrued, and spun out of control due to rampant media misinformation via false reporting or downright deliberate fabrication.

I saw shares and status updates on social media from people I know personally take the hysterical reports as gospel and declare that they were going to act upon it. I was in the unique position of actually being in the inner circle and knowing the truth of the matter.

That being said, this has been a Red Pill experience for me in media manipulation. It got me thinking: how often does this sort of thing happen? All the time? Whenever you see any kind of outrage story on the internet or in the news, is it even real? Whether by malicious intent or willful ignorance, the media manufactures drama, hysteria, and outrage. They take a story and spin it in a way that gets a rise out of people. I have now witnessed this in black and white, plain as day. Whether it's simply to garner traffic and make money from exploiting people's emotions or a bigger scheme to distract people from something else going on behind the scenes - it's real and it happens. I've experienced it first hand. This is not fantasy-world Orwellian sci-fi dystopian future tin-foil hat paranoia. These are real lies that get shoved down your throat daily.

Stay aware and don't believe everything that you read.

Yeah, I don't mind the forum being open again but I'm weary of opening up membership again. I imagine many accounts will be made for future use, and others actively used in order to up post count, attempt to become trusted.

I remember back when I was still in high school my school was chosen for an episode of this reality show. It was my first exposure to how reality shows worked and it made me realize how a lot of them were planned out. They had cooked up this story about how his one kid in my class had a total crush on some girl but was getting punked out by some more popular, jockish guy, a classic love triangle. While I wasn't friends with these people I knew they all ran in different social circles and didn't interact with each other that much. That was my first real life lesson on how media can create stories out of thin air - in this case it was relatively harmless though.

Many years later, I now got another lesson in media manipulation first hand and seeing the effects on people I knew. A bunch of girls I know in real life were posting on their social media about how Roosh was organizing "pro-rape" rallies and their reactions to it were so far away from reality that it was jaw dropping. One girl I know wrote: "there's a history with the organizer and his website, although I think this is the first time there's been a vague threat of violence at specific locations" and another person talked about how Roosh "promotes violence against women". Another girl I know actually straight up believed that the meetings were gatherings to plan out attacks against women. I always knew intellectually that media is going to distort issues but like many other things, it's not until you actually encounter it first hand that you really internalize the lesson.

What you have to understand about these types of people is that they don't say what they think and they don't do what they say. The terms and labels they use are chosen at will of some of their more prominent figures and then copied by the many minions and useful idiots without question. Rape they call enrichment - flirting and hooking up they call rape; themselves they call tolerant antifascists and see themselves as a group that promotes equality yet they behave like fascists and want to restrict other people's freedoms; us they call fascists for having views that used to be common sense even 50 years ago while bringing up every excuse in the book to protect the foreigners that share far more extreme views than we ever would. They are broken people, all kinds of different psychological issues cause them not to be able to see the irony and capriciousness in their own doing.

So yes, they as "Antifa" see their just cause in harassing us online and in real life because they view us as fascists. It doesn't have to make sense. Whether they are actually fighting fascism instead of promoting it and whether we are actual fascists or not does not matter to them or the naive normies they manage to pull with them into this shitstorm.
