How do you deal with obnoxious clowns?
Ok,

So how do you guys deal with the clowns that have nothing better to do than to ridicule you.
I have many times been incredibly blunt with them and told them to go away and that they are being obnoxious. This however goes against my general personality of not giving a F and seems to entertain them more.

It's incredibly annoying having to deal with these people on a regular basis as coworkers.

Listen to comedy records or watch videos of comedians and copy the way good comics shut down hecklers.

I have a Steve Martin record where someone interrupts him on stage by yelling something. He pauses a second and says "Yeah, I remember when I had my first beer." The audience definitely liked the comeback and the guy shut up.

Formulate an escape plan. Plan a future that surrounds you with people you enjoy.

Yeah, so why not stick to your general personality?
If you don't have to interact with them directly as part of your job, can't you just ignore it? I remember when it used to bother me quite a lot when classmates ridiculed me but the effect such things had on me kept decreasing with age and after highschool I stopped caring completely. In school I felt bad about it because people naturally want to feel accepted and part of the group and if they ridicule you, it means that's not the case. But after school you can just find good friends outside of work so you don't need approval of your co-workers. As long as you can find acceptance outside your work-circle, you should be able to just brush it off? And if you don't have anyone else - either just be your own man or start looking for people you like. I mean they can't ridicule you constantly, right? They have to work sometimes so it's probably just at break-times? If you just focus on work and don't react, their fun with you will end soon enough.
This sounds clichée, but remember that what THEY SAY is not the issue, but how YOU REACT TO IT (in your mind and in action) and how you interpret it. If they ridicule you even though you're friendly with them, then that just means they're low-lifes and the only way that what they say could affect your mood in the slightest negative way is if you value what they have to say more than what YOU think about yourself and you value their opinions more than what they're obviously worth. They're dishonourable pricks so why bother with what they say?
Finally, there has to be something about you why they chose you especially to make fun of. Could be your posture, your vibe, your language - something gives them a sense of superiority over you. This is actually a good indicator that you have to improve yourself in some regard, because it will affect other areas of your life as well (quality of women you attract, salary-raise, better job, how family and friends see you, how you're treated outside of work by strangers,...). People tend not to make fun of people they respect, obviously. Everybody should lift so if you're not already doing that, start hitting the gym. If you dress well and walk into the workplace with good posture, confident tone and some muscle on you, they will most likely not see you as someone to ridicule anymore. Also, have strong eye-contact. Not the creepy staring, but look them right in the eyes when you walk by and let them break eye-contact first. I used to not do that in school but then I forced myself to just look back at people on the street, in the restaurant or anywhere else until THEY looked away. These seemingly unimportant behaviours are actually comparable to subtle social hierarchy-fights and play a role in determining how much others respect you, which your co-worker's obviously don't. So find out what the reason is adn change it.

EDIT: Just saw your name. Well I guess we can probably scratch the lifting-advice then.

Coworkers?

Pull them into the other room for a one-on-one talk if it gets bad enough. Call them out.

It's all a show.

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Rudyard Kipling

I assume that the workmates you talk about are male? Is it possible that you're misinterpreting male banter as ridicule? Personally, I enjoy a bit of ball busting among male coworkers.

If it really is ridicule, I prefer not to engage and go for an amused no-fucks-given attitude.

The problem is likely not them, it's you.
Do you give of wired vibe? Do you look weak?

With people currently bothering you it's probably already too late. You gave them impression that they can mess with you and anything you do will just add to the fire.

If you can, start fresh. Improve you physical appearance. First time someone tries something call them out and make boundaries very clear.

RE: How do you deal with obnoxious clowns?

Everyone in this situation is dealing with obnoxious assholes in an excellent, purely NFG way. Kevin Hart is being quick and willing to dominate the social dynamic by loudly shutting down everyone else.

The entire room is after him, but he makes everyone feel like they're losing by using humor. Because everyone can't help but laugh at his jokes, you get the feeling that everyone is against whoever he is attacking.

Meek Mill doesn't have the advantage of being very funny and sharp with his words like Kevin, so he is simply cool.

He doesn't let anything get to him, and he laughs at the jokes against him and his crew too. Maybe because he can't help it, but regardless, it gives the impression that the jokes have no substance—that they're just jokes.

As long as they're just jokes, joke back or laugh at them and treat them lightly. Everyone else will too.

Now, if this guy is being serious and trying to insult you—and it's clearly malicious—don't put up with that shit. Don't get in his face and be irrational, but check him. Cooly call him out and return his maliciousness.

Usually, though, stick to the Kevin Hart formula. If this guy is really getting to you, let loose on him by making fun of him in return. If you get hit by a couple shots in the fray, be cool about it and laugh it off.
