It makes him look more like a victim and makes Alex Jones look like an angry bully. It also makes him look calmer and less crazy in comparison. He just needed Alex Jones to get physical or say something he can allege as racist and that's how he would be 'winning'.

I wonder why nobody has brought a lawsuit on this. The Internet came out of DARPA which was 100% funded by the American taxpayer. Therefore, this involves government action which is suppressing political speech. These techno-leeches have made billions of dollars off of exploiting taxpayer funded programs and now are regulating our political views. Trump needs to put Giuliani - a real prosecutor, in the Justice department and start investigations on how they got control, including antitrust suits, and charges of racketeering, and RICO.

Honestly, at this point I feel like real action is needed to actually safeguard our rights. Either we the people, or Trump, or both, need to march into Twitter and simply take over. This is a direct attack on freedom of speech conducted mere hours after Jack lied in front of congress and the entire nation to claim that Twitter does not take political opinions into account in its moderation.

I think at this point if Conservative social media celebrities want to show some backbone and force Trump to act then they need to get every banned Right wing personality on their feed as much as possible. Interviews. "Guest tweets". Ban one of us, you have to ban us all.

Hard to get that kind of solidarity, though. Other than ideological differences I'm sure it hasn't gone unnoticed that when big players like Jones get banned that the rest get a refugee boost to their ratings.

Kyle Kulinski's take on hit is quite insightful. He argues that while he supports Jones in principle, Jones' own past positions have left him compromised. Jones was on the wrong side of the net neutrality debate when he argued that corporations should have the control of slowing down internet speeds. And second, internet censorship isn't just happening to the Right, it is also happening to those on the Left, e.g. Jimmy Dore, Abby Martin, Telesur, Vanessa Beeley, Caitlin Johnson etc. Yet Jones has never mentioned any of this. It proves that he is a hack and is prepared to see those whom he disagrees with get banned while when it happens to him it's Muh Freedom. Many on the Right have been guilty of this. I would also like to point out that the liberal Left has been guilty of this too

IMHO, Jones is disingenious and is actually hurting the cause of freedom of expression and the calls to take Twitter and YT into public ownership. What has happened to Jones is wrong but it doesn't help when he is a fucking moron.

Sometimes I wonder if our best bet here is to encourage everyone we know on Twitter to mass report people like Darcy for every tweet as well as any other progressive types celebrating Jones banning and calling for the bans of others.

Time to burn the swamp down at this point. Time we reported just about anything for hate speech.

As we have seen in the past few days, reports don't matter, nor do algorithms (well they are a helpful abstraction to make it look neutral.) Jack Dorsey has the ultimate say on who gets to speak on twitter.
