Whatever makes you happy. My mom had a size 7 waist in her twenties
and now at 65 she needs to get more exercise. Just because you're naturally thin
doesn't mean you should not exercise. That's just one benefit.

Staying in shape also helps your heart, lungs, energy levels etc...it's something that everyone
should do to stay young and keep healthy.

I agree with this wholeheartedly, but what was referenced in OP were fit chicks, crossfit girls, and gym rats.

I don't mind a medium between naturally skinny and fit girls.

I'd rather have a naturally thin girl than a girl like Jen Selter, who spends her whole day doing ass workouts and attention whoring and probably getting dozens or hundreds of guys a day messaging her. That type of girl has too many options and could easily cling on to an A list celebrity or top pro athlete.

This is all balance like everything else in life. You want a girl that is naturally thin but understands what exercise can do for her overall health.

That's why I think you should look for a girl that has a thin mother and was an athlete in college or highschool. That way you see what the future is after they have a kid and that they understand what exercise does to the body. Of course these girls generally look the best compared to just a skinny girl or a girl that takes the exercise too far.

I think part of it was because the black culture values a large ass regardless whether it's from fat or muscle.

I used to deal with a West African lizard in London. She was naturally small but exercised to stay fit. She was very strong and had a crazy arse which is my weakness. She popped out kids like no man's business but she still maintained a similar shape. Her physique is pretty much the same as it was back then (she's now currently on kid number 5 minimum but could be the 6th kid). I don't think that lizard who takes care of their body is some xfit lunatic or gym rat. Those are just North American extremes which occur with any passion. In places of balance, the lizard won't become this caricature of what she does. I vote exercise to stay fit. I like people who are hard workers than lazy naturals. Rarely does the natural thin work forever, these natural thins develop a bang belly (look it up) as they get into the latter years.

Naturally thin girls that don't work out scare me, if they've got good eating habits then I worry less but it's easy to be a lazy junk food eater in your early 20s...what happens when the metabolism slows, and/or she pops out a kid, if she's got no desire to exercise and no food discipline, you've got a mess on your hands . A naturally big girl who keeps thin by being anal about diet and training can also be a pain in the ass. You need a happy medium, naturally thin girl who knows how to eat well and likes to engage in some sport/training. Like some of the others, I've dated competitive fitness competitors, bikini and physique girls and they look great, and other guys will give ya loads of love but the girl themselves are the biggest pains in the asses. Between comps and photo shoots, they're always killing fun and the fucking is always sporadic and I've competed so I know the life but it's one thing to do it for you, it's another to deal with the cranky annoying shit of someone else going thru it. Won't do it again.

Naturally thin with good assgenics is the way to go because in this case you just make her workout with you to tone her legs and make her ass look even better. Eventually down the line the only thing that can happen is her going back to being thin unless she eats crap.
