I say all Southern California locations are very safe. High risk areas in North America are probably D.C., Toronto, Montreal, San Francisco, etc.

Yes, there's been a few articles online about it since yesterday (see also my post in this thread).
Hopefully the meetup organiser and whoever else is attending can arrange alternative plans.
There's been no discussion about the meetup here on the forum, so it looks like they're RoK contributors rather than RVF members.

Edit: I've just seen an article denigrating Roosh, RoK and targeting the Naas event on the front page of thejournal.ie (a gossipy Irish news site, an Irish 'Buzzfeed' if you will)

For meetups to be secure and safe for most you would need to limit invitations to those who have a certain length of membership time or rep count and do everything by private message only, with no discussion allowed on forum or Facebook, etc.

Keep that shit on the down low.

Right or wrong, there are plenty of people who might like to attend a meeting, but they work competitive professional jobs or are in university and will soon be applying for such jobs. It is personally damaging to such people if there is a public protest and people are photographed/outed in the main stream media as being associated with what will be almost certainly be unfairly labeled as a misogynist rape movement.

I think we all admire Roosh for putting his name and face out there, and being the head of a movement, but for many RVF members that isn't really pragmatic.

Hey guys. I'm probably what you'd consider a lurker. I read the blog and forums from time to time, and I even came to the meetup here in DC not too long ago. While I couldn't go out and hang with you guys after, I will say that I was impressed with Roosh and the information that came forth from both him and the men present there, and I continue to agree with what was said there as well as what is said here.

The reason I'm posting is because I've heard of the MeetUp Day and I found it interesting to see how much of a reaction it's getting. This is a picture cut from my facebook page where two of my friends (a man and a woman) shared it from this woman (who I won't name; I don't know if she's media or just a nobody) listing dates and locations of Return of Kings meetings. She claims that the men involved are anti-women/pro-rape, and it infuriated me to hear that as it's a heinous description of you guys here. Anyway, here's the link, and keep on fighting the good fight. Hopefully if my schedule works, I'll make it to one of the meetings.
