Well, assuming she wasn't bullshitting when she said that all the of the personnel who showed up being female was "not orchestrated in anyway" then I say shame on all those other pussies for not showing up to work. If these handful of birds could make it in then I'm sure plenty of others could have too.

I would like to note that I do find it in poor taste that she decided to point out the gender of all the people that showed up. Perpetuating the women vs. men mentality that plagues the West. Typical.

Yea I'm sure these upper class women were out working 30 hour shifts in an attempt to plow roads, parking lots and sidewalks, trying to get power back on for hundreds of thousands of people, rescuing people trapped in buildings and cars, and generally making it possible for society to function again as soon as possible. Kudos to you for your efforts ladies. Without you, civilization would grind to a halt.

A few years ago when I worked in a Senate office, it was customary for people to show up around 9, "work" for a few hours (i.e. make the interns do everything), then fuck around afterwards until the office closed. There was a day that my coworker and I were ordered to go into the basement to get ice. They were too busy on Reddit/Facebook/whatever.

Working in most government offices involves sitting in the cubicle, fucking around on the internet, then occasionally typing a memo or doing something important. It's a job that requires no special training or education at all.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: if all men quit their jobs tomorrow, civilization as we know it would collapse. Nobody would maintain power lines/sewer systems/etc. Hospitals close due to lack of staff.

If all women quit their jobs tomorrow, the schools and some offices close. Civilization marches on.

Unconfirmed, but suspicious.

The thing is that men don't work harder because they are morally superior to women. They work harder because they have to.

If men aren't showing up, it's because they literally can't even. Their rent isn't going to pay itself.

For women, their rent pretty much does pay itself, so I'm suspecting that the women who did show up for work live walking distance from the office in luxury condos paid for by their parents.

I think you misunderstood him, he was being sarcastic, he meant the men were working 30 hour shifts, not the women. I still agree with the rest of your post though.
