Having had LTRs with both, given that the 6 is not a ball-busting smartass and we're assuming family etc, I'd go for the 6. You just can't respect a stupid 9, nor trust her to make good decisions. How is she going to look after your children? Your home? Your finances? Will she be tricked into cheating by the undoubted hordes of men chasing that 9?

Two worst relationships were with 9s, best is with a 6 (was 7.5 at the start, but age and kids take their toll on a woman). At least the 6 realises she has to work to keep a man; a 9 expects everything on a platter. Besides, those looks fade in real terms, and the scales will fall from your eyes before that, trust me.

I dated a pseudo-intellectual for two years. Think the Ann Arbor, vegetarian, wannabe hipster yearning for Brooklyn.

She was burdened with the need to discuss social issues, politics, art, poetry, and "film" (if you're not Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Paul Thomas Anderson, etc, they're movies. 24 year olds shouldn't say "film").

Guess what happened when she tried to discuss those topics with me? Whether it was me saying certain African tribes who kill twins because they symbolize witchcraft or demonic doppelgängers or some shit are idiotic (uh-oh, cultural relativism) or disinterest in some obscure poet, I was met with incredulous hostility.

It doesn't matter how smart a woman is, the likelihood of having a civil discussion where you disagree is nearly impossible.
