Dated an Indian girl once. Was really sweet and loving at first, but then let on that she had HPV and that her uncle raped her at 10 years old. Been called the nice guy my whole life, until I started just trying to be good. Still a work in progress (like with most things when it comes to self improvement), but now I tend to get some looks and reaction from folks that is more, "damn, he owns his shit" instead of "damn, this guy is going to be easy to walk all over." Funny enough, many times, people tend to just go along with you if you have the confidence to say what you just want to let out (and probably a bunch of other people wanted to say anyways).

And been getting more eye fucks and hit on from chicks. Chicks seem to have a 6th sense for sniffing out bullshit kindness vs owning your shit.

Being a good guy should be the goal.

I think you make some good points here.

My point is that I've seen a lot of situations in which one person was genuinely helpful or generous to another person. That second person, sensing an opportunity, unfairly exploited the first person. Too many people are users. I have no problem supporting a genuine friend or family member, but you have to be careful. Especially with women.
