RE: Roosh's article on potential Neomasculinity/MRA truce - discussion
I don't usually tune into these manosphere debates much as I feel they are generally a waste of time, but had the free time last night to listen to this one. Glad I did.
Overall, I got the sense from Elam that he is just trying to create debates out of nothing to spur interest in his work. He seemed to agree at some level with nearly everything Roosh had to say. Roosh was right by saying he is a guy nobody would turn to if they were just simply looking to get laid. If I were starting out again, I know I sure as fuck wouldn't.
I noticed the one major sticking point with Elam and the MRA crew was the point on men and women being equals. I don't understand Elam's mental gymnastics here.
Boiled down to a granular level, the entire point of MRA is about how women can so senselessly destroy men's lives on a whim? Is it any mystery why or how this can happen? Perhaps it's due to the fact they are not true creatures of good, logic and are definitely not natural leaders in male-female interactions. Men are naturally logical leaders in a male-female interaction. Women are side-kicks at best.
He talks about getting girls by acting indifferent, again how does that naturally make sense? If women are as equal to men, why would they be attracted to men who have no perceived attraction to them? Women operate out of the feels, plain and simple. There is no equating that with how men naturally think and act. As such women need put in their place, however you want to imagine that.
Roosh brought up a great point to this during the debate, we are in our current situation because the female condition was left unchecked by so many men.
You think Paul and the MRA crew would have finally seen the light on this point after hearing and seeing so many horror stories.

RE: Roosh's article on potential Neomasculinity/MRA truce - discussion
I think Elam's viewpoint is doomed to failure because he is trying to achieve success in a framework that is designated for failure. He acknowledges that marriage is a rigged game for Western men, and his solution in the debate is to find aspects of women that are part of the group that will burn you in divorce court. Even if the followers of avfm master this to a T, they will still fail as a great amount of men will not find a marriageable woman and others will be denying their base instincts to fuck, as Roosh emphatically said.
Elam displays his stubbornness to accept human nature in the neomasculine debate. He objected to Roosh's solution to a future traditional culture, and even said men exercising leadership and being the head of the household is akin to sharia law. I always enjoy the photos on ROK post's of families and women from the 1950's, where women were mothers, and our culture prepared them for this role via homemaking classes, their family members encouraging them to marry at an age between 18-22, learning good values for life, etc, and this was from a Christian culture in a free-market society. Elam likes to denounce feminism, yet he said that he is in a relationship where he calls both of them "equals," and in his words this dynamic is working out fine. Is that really any different from what feminists want in male-female relationships? He has done a decent job of adapting in the climate we live in today, but is failing to understand the solutions for our culture to become prosperous again.
Like the fact that there is a truce brewing between Neomasculinity and MRA's, but the difficulty will be agreeing to solutions in the culture war. Our institutions and society have been subverted since the 1960's, and the only way out is reverse-subversion, or as Roosh mentioned in a recent article, reverse propaganda to women to become mothers. Neomasculinity is the solution as it is reverse-subversion for men to become natural leaders again, embracing strength, wisdom, and honor. If we are going to win the culture war and prevail, this is the only way to do it, rather than adapting to oppressive laws and a feminist paradigm that are a guarantee to shared misery for the masses.
