This post belongs in beginner game.

But yes. Most PEOPLE, not just women, form their lives around the ideas that they're exposed to in pop culture.

It's important because it influences how you communicate with them. There's a reason that several of the high up people I've met in sales roles ( think private wealth management and consulting) have their secretaries print out a summary of sports scores even if they don't care about sports themselves.

Being a woman in 2016 is the shittiest time in human history. They have imprisoned themselves, whored themselves out and sentenced themselves to a lifetime of slavery to the unrealistic expectations of social media. It is so complete thst I have not heard one lone female voice calling for dissent.

Women castigate men for lying to them to get laid but desperately embrace the lies of a culture that ruins their lives. Go figure.

Along the same lines of thinking, I've begun to realize that I should get on board with the Game of Thrones train. Not by devoting hours to watching the shows, but by reading Wikipedia summaries. My dad used to do this with films.
