As a man who enjoys the company of 19-21 year olds, I know most of them are going through college with too little money. First dates are almost always in Starbucks or a park with an ice cream place nearby. Spending 10 dollars won't hurt my finances.

In a FWB scenario, I can go pick her up at the nearest metro/train station. Or maybe to her place if she makes up for it in bed or cooking.

That's a lot of typing for a fairly simple point. If you do it because you can and hage decided to do so vs allowing cultural norms or outside pressure pushing you, both will come across differently.

Hell I personally almost never buy drinks, but if I do so it's after Ive decided I enjoy the company and feel generous. Again compared to a chick approaching and chatting with the soul purpose of getting something free.

I pay for everything but I date almost exclusively students, models and other broke struggling girls. Most of these girls I met out at night-time and #chop them. I do zero online game. I am mid 20s, 150k+ yr/job (which I never talk about), but I do drive a top-tier fancy car (think 7-series, LS, S-class)

These girls are often FOBs and in the age range of 21-26.

1st date- Come to me and well have sushi/sake. Sushi place is a lively grind joint that bumps club music. Happy hour sake/sushi from 8.30 till close. Usually order 1-2 small items (finger food/apps/sushi roll) to split and 2 large hot sakes. Bill runs about 35 buxs including tax/tip. You get a real sense of how the girls shares w/you, how she drinks and blah blah blah.

If she doesnt drive then Ill pick her up and take her to a local spot near her (often its in Koreatown or Hollywood where the ESL schools are). Usually I do thai food or seafood happy-hour w/drinks paired w/a bar walking distance from 1st spot. Food- 20 buxs. Drinks 20-25 buxs. 40-50 buxs all in all.

Thats about the sum I feel comfortable spending even if it goes nowhere. %50 of them go nowhere.

2nd dates are usually a locked down restaurant paired w/a club or bar walking distance (or at worst short uber distance) followed by a swoop session at the pad. I usually go undefeated at this second date for swooping.

1st date I'll do coffee or a glass of wine. 2nd date will be a hike or a glass of wine. I belong to 2 wineries very close to where I live. Both offer a free glass to a member and their guest each day. My favorite routine starts with a glass at the winery. If I think the bang is likely, I'll suggest a second glass.

I always try to have some quick woman friendly food at my place, think caprice sandwiches or any kind of light seafood. In a pinch, I can also whip up an amazing Nicois salad. Towards the end of the second glass, if she hasn't mentioned it, I'll say something about food which usually gets the hamster going. This will lead to me talking about the awesome ingredient(s) I have at my house which happens to be really close. I then say something like, "I could make you some". Before you know it, we're at my house and there's like a 90% chance of getting naked and like an 80% chance of sex

So I usually spend less than 30$ on two dates and get a bang out of >50% of my second dates. I've used the above formula with 1st dates too especially when the girl came from more than 20 minutes away.
