How many women sacrifice their happiness for the good of the family?

There is debate about how many marriages fail, 30%-60%

There is no debate on who initiates divorce proceedings. It's women by a large margin. If she ain't happy she's running to the courthouse. She puts herself first, and euphemistically the children.

The man that stays in a relationship where the woman is openly disrespectful or adulterous is not doing his children any good. At home watching Frozen with the kids while Mommy is having her weekly girls night out.

Part of the weakness of most men is this willingness to sacrifice self for others. It is not natural. It is bred into boys at an early age. Some 15 year old just gave his life for 3 girls. Why?

Men's mental health and emotional welfare are verboten in the mainstream and in the 'Sphere. But game is largely about tapping into those things that have been suppressed.

So even with a family in mind, a man should consider his grievances as equal to those of others. He may decide to stick with the abuse, but it should not be an automatic decision.

It derives from the pedestalization of women in the West, especially in the Anglosphere. Although I agree with the ideals you express, what your post fails to mention, though, is the epic levels of thirst in the West, above all in the Anglosphere, which supplies women with enormous leverage in dictating the terms in any LTR. How many men are going to be ready to walk away when they know that the result of doing so may well be a multi-year dry spell? And this is precisely the calculation that many men, especially blue pillers, are faced with these days when contemplating bailing on a toxic relationship.

Could've used that cab driver's advice myself about 16 years ago.

That right there. You write a lot of good stuff WIA but what I like best is that I can always find the one sentence that distills everything. If you guys remember nothing else about LTRs, remember this sentence. In fact, I remember having internal misgivings and dismissing them with the exact thought that "it's just not that important". Yes it is. In fact, I believe now that there is nothing more important in a relationship with a woman.

I was married 15 years and I really can distill all of the major problems to this: I never felt respected or honored by my wife.

Dissolving an LTR/marriage comes at the price of the sanity of your sons/kids. Before you pull the trigger, make very sure what the consequences are, and that this is what you are prepared to pay.

Agree with the first part, and let me say this from my recent experience: I always hung on thinking that if it did come to divorce, it'd be easier on the kids if they were older. I was wrong. My oldest has taken the divorce the hardest, my middle one is coping, my youngest seems to have no big issues. Now I wish we'd divorced 2-3 years ago.

Regarding "you can't pick right": one thing a friend told me years ago, before I was even in the relationship that led to my marriage, is "people don't change people, situations change people". There are just too many choices, too many options, too many incentives for women to misbehave, especially if you're in the provider role and ESPECIALLY if she doesn't work outside the home. The traditional family and roles are so far gone it's not even worth talking about, at least in the US, Canada, and probably in Western Europe.

Shit, I just added stuff written in this thread in my signature. Just some pure fucking gold. Thank you guys! Although I still have a lot to learn about game, at least (I hope) I won't get married to the first girl I get into an LTR with.

Not happening. - redbeard in regards to ETH flippening BTC

It is natural, or rather it is by design of God to be otherworldly. You can't call something "not natural" and part of the weakness of "most men" when it is a phenomena that operates across cultures, time, and location. The young naturally want to live and especially die for something greater than themselves. What is unnatural is being taught or learning to live for purely for yourself.

Then how do you explain rich and powerful men who send others to die?
Isn't everyone a God Fearing man when he is in a foxhole?

Men do not want to die, that's a myth that alphas sell betas, so that the man in charge doesn't have to get his hands dirty.

When you look at life all over the globe, I do not see self-sacrificing men, I see men engaged in a fight for scarce resources. Almost every war being fought right now is by "betas" who believe in paradise for Alphas who have their heaven here on earth.

Historically, the elite go through cycles of corruption and detachment from the values they promote to the rest of society. Framing it as an Alpha vs Beta dynamic doesn't capture most of history's real alpha males -- Jamie Dimon and Barack Obama are just fucking pussies compared to Alexander the Great and Caesar.

The men who build empires often actually follow the code of honor and sacrifice they set out for others -- examples off the top of my head include Pericles, Simon Bolivar, Washington, Lawrence of Arabia, Peter the Great, etc. These men aren't saviors, but they're not hypocrites.

The men who tend to lead when corruption becomes the norm are just like 99% of our current Congress. They know how to espouse the values of those who built the current power they enjoy, while being soulless operators themselves. None of the men who are our current political and business "leaders" would have the charisma and integrity to lead others through adversity.
