I think it is not true from my researches?
First of all, you need to add days up from the beginning of her period and then as far as I have been told not 14, but more like 10.

You should read the thread, we discussed this at length on page 1. (You are correct though; day-counting methods are not effective.)

The problem is these 'pregnancy' apps don't exactly have a 100% success rate.

A woman's menstrual cycle isn't something you can be completely certain about either. Not to mention the fact sperm can survive for several days...

Eh, just use a condom.
