Plain and simple question: how does one keep the conversation going with a girl while texting? It been good for a couple of days but how should i continue?

This implies that you've built up enough comfort and you should be angling to invite her out and going for the lay. It's very easy to get stuck in 'text buddy purgatory' so I would do that soon.

Stop texting and invite her to meet for a few quick drinks.

Ring her to do this, don't text a date invitation.

It becomes very difficult to continue with text game after a certain point of time. The key is to escalate the conversation. If the conversation was general in the beginning, make it personal after a few texts.

However, I would rather meet her up in person and escalate from there as it saves more time and the chances of success would be better.

The interest has to be there in the first place. If she's on the fence about you, she's not going to spend a lot of time responding to your "super clever" text messages, no matter how reeking of game they are. Text messaging is not for generating interest.

Instead, you have to get her interest, which can only be gotten in person.

Once you've banged her and she's hooked, trust me, you'll get all kinds of text walls from her all the time about everything for every reason.

Don't make texting out to be more complicated than it is. Keep it to logistics, don't emote like a female, and use occasional laconic wit. You're a guy who is busy with more important stuff than being tethered to his phone, obsessed with sending women "clever" texts.

...while texting? <-- this is simply not smart for you to 'pursue'. If she wants to talk a lot, go ahead. You shouldn't prompt it.

She's the gatekeeper for sex, you're the gatekeeper for relationship.

Texting is like a really really mini interaction...
- Relationship...1-3 years before something happens (marriage, or you're just in a serious relationship, or whatever) or breaking up
- Date (conversation, activities): 30min-2hours before you're groping each other
- Texting: Max, and I mean max, 10 texts before you figure out if you make plans with her or not

I've had great relationships with chics where we just texted when we were going to meet up, and I've had relationships where we were frequently going back and forth. I can't say which type lasts longer, tho I usually "like" the latter chic more.

Relationships have a life span, mini relationships have a life span, FWB have a life span, conversations and dates have life spans, and texting has a life span.

In the end, you either go separate ways or you cum together.
