Seen it. However you comment shows you obviously arent part of the "culture" when it comes to body building. You are never satisfied, Its never enough. When you have done this for almost 10 years you just dont simply quit, you are ALWAYS looking to improve and after 10 years the natural gains are basicly almost non existant, you come to a point where the gains you get from working it 4-5 times a week, counting the proteins, buying all the food, the gym membership, everything that revolves around it, is simply not worth it no more.

Thats the point when you start looking for something to boost you, so you can enjoy making good gains again as you did the first couple of years.

I can sympathize a lot, actually. Since you seem to know what your doing with your training, you probably should try them (responsibly) if you really want to, for yourself, and with that understanding. But I agree with the other posters that since you are way past the point of diminishing returns as attracting girls go, you are much better served by focusing energy on your weaknesses instead of on what is already strong.

Well there are 2 reasons, with the absolutely heaviest one being that It will grant me a great fucking situation where I get to work for 50% of the year, getting 50% of the year to free time (work 6 months, then no work 6 months) while getting paid for all the months, even when I dont work. Great pay and a probably pretty adventourous job, compared to your regular desk job atleast.

The second reason, which is not as big, but still of importance: An optimal opportunity to "start fresh" and build a strong social circle with friends and girls, parties, get to live the years I missed out on isolating myself from the world, basicly.

It is ofcourse very possible to meet new friends and girls outside of college aswell, however given my current situation I would argue a college enviroment would be very very good for me.

Alright thanks but what should I be focusing on then? I already know I have to build a bigger social circle and move out, get a career going. I want more girls, an active social life, friends to do things with. Go on vacations, just experience the world. I have the life experience of a 19-20 year old tops, and Im 27.

I want to learn "game" and be pretty good at it, I dont want an exclusive relationship but a couple of fuck buddies. Travel, see different cultures, I also want to start a blog and make money of but that will be very very difficult given my english is far from perfect and for a blog to be popular it has to be in english.

I also want to compete in team sports, and feel a sense of "brotherhood" and camradery with other guys.



But I have no idea how to start, I feel paralysed just sitting here and I dont know what to do.

Not really. Its a small gym and almost no one works out that much here. The place I live is maybe ... 5000 people? At most, Its not even a town, just a little .. "village" (?).

Of the fifty or so friends I know who "stayed" at my old hometown, I can count on one hand how many have attractive, bangable girlfriends, an enviable social life and a middle class lifestyle (not even upper middle class). For friends that have one of those things, I can count maybe a dozen. The odds are not in your favor.

Unrelated, but some of the best gamers in the world are Swedes and I believe this is because there are a lot of bright young men who live in the middle of nowhere and have nothing better to do with their time.

In a town of 5,000 people, maybe 9% of the population is between the ages of 18 and 24. This means there are 225 women in their prime, an optimistic 180 of them are bangable and out of those, 50 are actually hot.

I think many of your problems are related to the fact that you live in a village with few opportunities for young men. In the past, your parents would set you up to marry the girl next door. The problem is that the girl next door went to college in Malmö and decided to stay there. Don't just plan to travel, move to a larger city.

I was in a very similar situation to the OP a year ago.

I had nothing life-threatening going on in my life but I was stuck in a spiral of self doubt and pity, what helped me the most (besides jogging first thing in the morning) was working my ass off to change my mindset first before anything.

Get a pen & paper and write down your vision for your life a year from now, then 2, all the way up to 5 it does not need to be finely written it could be scribbles on a pad or on your phone.

Then write down a time you succeeded in life, you felt on top of the world and indestructible.

Every morning go outside of your house to somewhere quiet and sit down and read the time you felt on top of the world, genuinely recall it as clear as you can and try to feel what it was like at the time (as with anything it will be hard at first but will become easier and more profound the more you stick to doing it)

After that think of your vision and do the same thing. Close your eyes and picture it, go into detail, do not just think of yourself in a mansion with 5 bitches naked snorting coke off your soldier. Imagine waking up in your own environment. Getting out of bed and wanting to get up as soon as possible, having a meaning. Looking out your window and seeing a place you want to be in. Walking outside your door, feeling the sun hitting you and knowing the world is yours for the taking (as with the other it will take time for you to truly internalise these feelings but it will become stronger as you continue)

You've worked your body and you know what you are capable of, now it's time to work your mind and bring it on par with your body.

I'd recommend grabbing books like "Gorilla Mindset" and in general giving Danger & Play a read as well as checking the pod-cast as well as the others mentioned in this thread.

I'd also say I strongly recommend moving out ASAP. I am the type of person that is affected immensely by my environment. Every 6 weeks or so I get sick of the layout of my room / style and switch it up. You might be the same as me in that aspect. Start looking at rooms to rent, go see them and try to picture if this is the place you can take your next step.

I don't think I'd recommend going to University as you can learn everything on the internet and wont have the debt that comes with it.

This is only my take on it, everything else I would have mentioned has been covered already by more experienced posters.

Remember at the end of the day the choice is yours. Develop a hunger for knowledge, knowledge that can turn you into who you believe you really should be.

Also be very conscious of your breathing patterns, when I was getting anxious and depressed I could feel it in my body. My breathing would become shallow and I would also hold my breath which in turn would make me feel even worse.

I fixed it by using resources like Elliot Hulse's "Breathe into your balls" as well as spending time looking into deep breathing.

Hello. Yes I actually applied for some personal trainer jobs this week, however it seems like most of them want you have an education in personal training. I searched for some educations and it was like for 1-2 months, cost money tho which I dont have now. Given the fact Ill move to a new town in 8 months Im not sure Its worth saving up to an education in personal training and applying for jobs trying to find one when Ill be out of here soon enough.

You are probably right man. I cant do nothing here, really. I almost dont know anybody my age here no more, so I dont get invited to parties. And people in small villages just dont "invite new people" to their social circles for no reason.

I look out of my window now and all I see is snow falling down, my neighbors farm and nothing else. Nearest store is 10minutes walking, and its a store for groceries. If I wanna buy clothes for example, I have to take the bus for 1 hour in to the "nearest town" Which is only 12.000 people population.

There is literally nothing here. There is one resturant where you can buy pizza and burger, one grocery store, one small gym and one place where you can go get your haircut.
