^ Trivial, but why get a driver's license if he's going to join the military? He'll be caught up in basic for a while anyhow. Can get it when he's out and stationed somewhere.

Might as well just hop headfirst into his new life if he goes that route.

It's a mental thing. When I got my license it was the equivalent of freedom for me. Being able to drive anywhere is a great thing.

Not to mention, do you really think they're going to be thrilled to hear that private V card never learned how to drive a car?

Even then though, dude should just join the military. All of the problems listed can be sorted out by a good 5 year enlistment.

You are in Scandinavia, go hike somewhere and camp. Climb mountains, ski, do real things outside, meet people and build experiences in your life. Don't idly surf the net, only use the web for a specified purpose. Listen to great music. Take up hobbies where you get to meet other people. Rebuild your social skills.

I'd also encourage you to reach out to people here that have given you the advice you've felt most drawn to. A lot goes on here over PM, between guys who have never met, but who are otherwise motivated to try to help people raise themselves up. I'm sure if you show sincere effort to make progress, you will find no shortage of people here willing to help you.

Are you Estonian? If not Estonian then from Finland or Sweden? All this counter-strike and something else sounds very familiar. I got very similar background, not CS but Runescape. I can relate to lot, played lots of hours, had great group/friends from age 14-16/17 and now im about your age also, little older. After that it also stopped but I managed somehow to go past the game period and now I don't like the games at all.

What advice do I have.. if you got all this time then learn programming. It will give you something to do, you will get also community. To be honest programming and the community around it still feels little bit like the old gaming experiences. You can go to meetups and meet people, also you will get some job perspective.

Guys, keep in mind OP is Scandinavian. A lot of advice re: ease/cost of buying a car, joining the military, etc may have substantially different implications than if he were in the US.

OP sent me several pictures showing he is jacked. I reverse imaged the pics, and they took me back to another forum which I won't name for sake of anominity, but from a brief browing seems to have quite a few toxic individuals, not sure if I'm looking at an attempted red pill site or a satire of one.

He also told me his name which I looked up on facebook, I do not have concrete proof but I am fairly confident that OP, the user on that web forum, and the facebook profile are all the same person.

I don't think this is a troll, but OP I do think you have some serious issues, not related to your looks. Hopefully others members advice will help you with your journey.

Are you also addicted to pornography/masturbating? I can relate to some parts of your story, OP, and one thing that has helped me improve my situation a lot is quitting porn and masturbation cold turkey.

This thread has very much come at the right time for me, almost synchronistically so. What started off as a well-deserved break from working very hard has extended for far too long, and made me lazy and complacent when it comes to ensuring that my most important tasks are fulfilled.

I've let myself stay in a slump for far too long, and the time has come to get off my ass and ensure that my actions reflect my priorities and goals in life.

First Im very sorry I cannot responde to all It is so many posts at this point, but I want you to know I read it all and take it to hearth, Im gonna make a plan how to get my life better and I think getting my drivers licence is a very good first step.

Yes I dont know If Im addicted, but Ive been fapping to porn basicly every day since I was 13, so 14 years.

I get what you mean.

Besides the freedom aspect, one thing I've learned over the years is that if I'm feeling powerless or in a depressed funk, the smallest things can make a difference. For example, if you're in a shitty state for a while, you start ignoring small things like cleaning your apartment, and it all starts to stack up.

I've found that just exerting your control over the most trivial things can really being to reawaken your sense of mastery over the world around you and snap you out of it, giving you some footing to really work from. Just getting up, walking across the room, and picking through that pile of clothes lying on the floor. Digging into some dirty dishes, organizing paperwork, polishing up your shoes, or giving yourself a good grooming.

I imagine getting a driver's license is the same when you don't have one. You start by asserting your influence on the world in small ways and you pick up momentum for something more.

Control what you can control instead of focusing on what it feels like you can't.
