I've always resonated with James Marshall's take on seduction and manhood.

Based on the title I thought this video would be more of the same.

But he actually delved mostly into the kinds of issues we discuss in the manosphere.

I found myself mentally arguing with several of his points as I watched the video.

But despite disagreements I still found this speech to be well-crafted, well-delivered and thought provoking.

Interested to hear the forum's take.

VV, I'm puzzled by your recommendation of this dude's speech.

I tried to watch it but I couldn't get through more than a little. I am not easily bored, but I found him to be an exceptionally boring speaker; and his boilerplate feminist "points" -- at least the few that I got to hear before I tired of him -- did not so much provoke a desire to argue as a brutal tedium that required turning elsewhere for distraction.

I have no doubt that women like the guy; he is a vacuous slickster. It's harder to justify the idea of men spending an hour listening to his plummy Aussie chatter.

I noted that the conference was held in Tampa, and I couldn't help thinking that it would have been better for all involved to invite Mech to give the keynote address, which would have also doubled as both the opening and closing speech of the event, otherwise known as its only speech. They should have given him two stiff vodka drinks -- but not an ounce more -- and asked him to hold forth on any and all topics that came to his mind. In the process, they might have learned a good deal about "how to be a man", as well as about other and yet more interesting subjects. An opportunity missed...

I never understand why people would look up to a pretty boy PUA. I mean, this guy looks like he could've ligitamatly been a model. How hard can it have been for him to pick up regular 7s and 8s with only a modicum of game. Look at someone like Yad, Torero, or Krauser. Without game, their par would be 5's and 6s at best. They've all been learnt their shit in the trenches, and are punching well above their weight (at least on the surface). I've heard this guy before and his schtick is not to my tastes at all. Talking about making women nervous through his 'intensity'. Each to their own, but not my bag.

He is good looking guy with good style and especially his body posture is good.

His personality is like white wall paper though.

This really is no different than a hot girl that dresses well with a boring personality. Don't need to form one.

Again this is a speech. Many people in public speaking act completely different when one on one. He may have amazing game.

Let us also not forget some guys are absolute bores as far as male friendship, yet dynamite with women.
