Airbnb - Crossdresser guest.
I had a guy for few days. he seemed alright and wanted to stay weekly so I let him pay by weekly.
It has been about 3 weeks and few days ago, I noticed this guy wearing a dress that a woman would wear in house. I tried to not to react weird even though it's fucking weird.
(have you seen a man dressed in public? makes you uncomfortable by looking at it from distance. he is Sharing my place)
He talks to me just like a normal man in those.

Because of all these LGBT rights and non discrimination shits in America, I felt like I have to change little but I don't know if I can keep dealing with this.

I don't know why he started to dress differently (at home only. he goes to work in just regular guys clothes) after a while. Is it some kind of a test?
(you know how gays test you to see if you would be into their shit)
If the person doesn't react weird, do they think it's ok to go more hardcore?
Do they get excited if someone sees them in woman's clothes?
(he was sitting on a couch like a fucking woman in a dress)

Honestly, whatever they tells you about LGBT or weird subculture, we were just programmed in certain ways initially. (how gays were born to be gays) and it won't change. I think I just should be who I am and don't have to feel ashamed of getting disgusted at something I don't want to see.

My advice would be to suppress your homophobic and transphobic tendencies. Talk to him/her about his/her experiences and you may learn something new. Within a few weeks it's not unlikely that you may be both sitting on the couch wearing dresses and painting each other's nails. It pays to be open minded about such things.

Sounds like just your average hipster male in 2015. It started with doing the man bun hair, this is next progression I guess.

I don't want to be Open Minded.

Open Minded things are only related to something people frown up on.

Btw, can I refer your place? you don't mind being in a private space with him?

RE: Airbnb - Crossdresser guest.
My first serious GF's dad was a crossdresser. Her brother later became one too.

The worst part about crossdressers isn't the fact that they're freaks that cruise around in women's clothing.

It's their personality. Ultimate attention whores, ultimate victim complex, and constantly relating to the world in terms of their "struggle". Fuck them. In previous eons they'd be thrown into a river and for good reason.

If I was in your shoes I would come up with a white lie to get him out. Something like, "My buddy is visiting and needs a place to stay. Sorry but I need you to bounce." No need for excess drama.

"...so I gave her an STD, and she STILL wanted to bang me."

Does crossdresser money spend any differently than regular people money? Do you have to convert it or something?

Since reviews are left about the hosts, etc. I would be cautious with your behavior. If you start to make an issue about it, you are going to be labelled a (insert SJW word of the day) and you may have other issues.

If it is an important source of income for you then you need to think about how you will manage through this.

I am not sure how much longer he/she is staying, maybe you can get a friend to book up some open dates so that he cannot extend his stay.

RE: Airbnb - Crossdresser guest.
Veloce is probably on the right track. You need a "facially neutral" reason to get your cross-dressing guest to leave, as soon as you can. Unfortunately, that probably means letting him/her stay for the time you originally agreed to.

Under federal law, discrimination in housing accommodations is prohibited on the basis of "sex," not "sexual orientation" or "gender identity." But that wouldn't necessarily stop a federal court from implying that discrimination because of sexual orientation/gender identity because a person cross dresses is based on "sex." This is the same court system that decided that Equal Protection and Due Process clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment prohibit states from banning same-sex marriage. But you would probably be safe under the the Fair Housing Act because it typically doesn't apply to airbnb users because of "Mrs. Murphy's exemption," an exemption to the Act for persons living in a dwelling and renting four or fewer rental units within the home.

The law of your state or city could potentially be more tricky. If you live in a more "progressive" jurisdiction (a liberal state or big city), the local laws could explicitly prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. They could also not extend the federal law's "Mrs. Murphy" exemption to persons living in a home and renting to a single guest. These are the same types of laws that have been used against small enterprises to impose civil liability, such as the baker who refuses to bake a cake for a gay couple, the wedding photographer who refuses to photograph a lesbian wedding ceremony, or a family-run b&b that refuses to accommodate gay guests.

Also, you need to worry about Airbnb itself. Like most large companies, they are extremely gay-friendly and will not hesitate to ban you from its service if your guest reports you for kicking him/her out because he/she wears dresses. You might want to recheck that policy. But I've seen stories where Airbnb renters have been delisted after discriminating against gay/transgender people.

The bottom line is that the law and large company policies are fucked up and skew toward SJWs. You need to use care and caution before getting rid of your guest. You should probably wait until the time you agreed to let your guest stay and then come up with a reason why the guest needs to leave that doesn't involve him being a homosexual. Anything less, and you risk exposing yourself to liability or losing your Airbnb source of income.

Now he is paying cash so it has nothing to do with airbnb.
there are other things I don't like (constantly goes out to patio to smoke. I also smell a weed. pops a beer daily etc) and this is one of them.

I don't think I will be affected by the law. I just don't want to make enemies and end things in good terms.
I was thinking about bringing the issue in an honest way.

Unless I was in dire straights financially, I couldn't imagine renting out a room to transients in the place I'm living in. I don't know how people do it really.

RE: Airbnb - Crossdresser guest.
I also had a crossdresser guest from airbnb last year. Dude was extremely gay and totally open about his sexuality. My brother was fucking annoyed about him dressing the way he was dressing, I thought he was gonna give us a bad look to our neighbours but then I just thought you know what, fuck my neighbours, I am getting paid for this shit and that is what matters.

Few days later my friends come around and see this dude dressed like that when he quickly came to the living room. They were like '' wtf, is this how you are rolling pitt? You messing with gays and shit?'', they laughed so loud that this crossdresser knew that they were making fun of him. Few days later, I got a negative review. I didn't really care about the negative review.

If it really bothers you, find a way to get him out or speak to him about it. If not, just ignore it.

RE: Airbnb - Crossdresser guest.
your situation describes the reality of America. you hear all this Be nice to weirdos and shit and it makes you think, 'maybe I should accept the difference'. You go out and give a shot with different crowds and all you get is staring and laughing from normal people.
So you let this guy stay and you got humiliated by friends. What if you were just giving him a ride and people you know saw you guys? (business related, girls, friends) what would they think?

In the end, you got bad reps for your friends behavior. Isn't it awesome to receive something like that when you were the only nice host who would allow someone like him?

RE: Airbnb - Crossdresser guest.
Actually I didn't know he was a crossdresser before he got to my house, if I knew it, I probably wouldn't let him stay (nothing against gay people but a dude dressed like a women is way too much, specially when he was wearing high heels everyday and had women's earrings).

I felt like an idiot for being nice to him and then receiving a bad review. He was also a bad guest like proper messy and shit. I was just hoping that he would not bring guys to my house. If that did happen, I would throw him out right there and then.

Let me precede this with the disclaimer that IANAL. That said - you may be heading for a world of hurt and I'm glad that I caught this thread overnight.

First up, let's forget about the cross-dressing for a moment. In California and most likely in many other states, once someone rents a property for 30 days, that person is considered a tenant on a month-to-month lease. THIS IS WHY AIRBNB ALWAYS LIMITS RENTALS TO 30 DAYS OR LESS. Read this again!

Many airbnb hosts negotiate private deals attempting to circumvent the additional cost and usually there is no problem. However, every once in a while some unlucky bastard unfamiliar with the legal side of things winds up shooting himself in the foot big time. Here's a link to a horror story that happened last year - similar pattern: Guy moves in - negotiates a cash deal and stays over 30 days - then stops paying rent altogether. I read another story where the tenant was starting to thrash his room and the host couldn't do jack as he was prohibited from entering the room. Took her months and a lot of money to get this guy out - I also remember another where a guy pulled the gay card as well, accusing the host of prejudice and hiring his own attorney. Once again it got ugly and it took months and a ton of money to get that guy out.

You said that you just hit the three week mark, which means it's five minutes to twelve and you need to act NOW. This is what you do first: Hire a lawyer right now and explain him/her what is going on and that you are worried about being trapped by this guy. Make it clear to that lawyer that you, in your infinite wisdom, agreed to cash payments. You should mention the cross dressing thing but don't make this the main issue. It certainly makes things more difficult depending on what state you live in. If you live in CA then it's an additional problem.

Don't go cheap here now - you're already in the hot seat, mate. And once you hit the 30-day mark this guy can play this out well into next summer and getting rid of his cross dressing ass may cost you a fortune. Hey, I may be wrong and he'll move out without giving you any trouble, but the pattern seems awfully reminiscent of the AirBNB horror stories I read about previously.

Let us know how you fare and best of luck!

RE: Airbnb - Crossdresser guest.
Can't you rebutt reviews anyways?

As far as dealing with the situation, you can also develop discomfort through questioning without getting into a pillow fight with this "person." That discomfort may force him to address the issue rather than ignore it which he continues to do.

"Hey Johnny, I wanted to ask you something."
"Is there a reason why you wear dresses in the house and not outside?"
"Would you be uncomfortable if I had friends over and they joked about this?"
"Would you consider not wearing them inside the house?"

I'm not saying this fixes the entire problem but it will cause the guy to see what he's doing. Also, if you're gonna deal with the situation anyways, that more blunt conversation later will be made easier since you've already brought it up. It also seems like you haven't even brought it up yet, so in a way it's hard to blame him for continuing this weird behavior.

I don't care what his background is, the respectful thing to do would have been to first ask you if that's okay. It's your place for fucks sake dude.

It's usually worth the peace of mind to follow your gut, even if it means you have to take some small financial hit.

Now that the negative review is written, what is keeping you from taking action?

You say it's been about 3 weeks. Tell him you wont be able to renew next week (be sure to not let him stay more than 4 weeks 28 days total). Do not even mention the cross dressing, or anything, just say you've got someone else coming and he can't stay.

You might think it's honest or alpha when you want to ask or confront him about the cross dressing. But it wont do you any good. Just get someone else to stay there (ideally a friend or family member).

If you're looking for profit then think of your place as a gay friendly apartment. You could corner the market on CD, trannies,cis-trans Warriors, gays, and the likes.

Exactly. I've been in real estate a long time and it comes down to this, "Who pays their rent on time?" When you're paying a mortgage, you've got no time for stories about the post office, paychecks, mom and dad, or any of the other 1000 excuses.

If they pay their rent on time, they can dress like women, college basketball mascots, or Harry Potter.
