I will be on Ko Tao next week from Dec 28 - Jan 3 doing a scuba course right up to NYE.

Luckily I got accommodation on the island through my diving school, otherwise I would have been fucked. Hotels are like 99% sold out for the NYE week. Even shitty hostels in poor location are going for like 1,800 baht per night.

Any of you guys gonna be partying on either Ko Tao or Ko Phangan for NYE?

I am travelling solo now and so it would be fun to meet up.

I'm considering either staying on Ko Tao for NYE as I have a room there. Or taking a ferry over to Ko Phangan just for the NYE, don't sleep and take ferry back next morning to Ko Tao (or crash as some chick's place). Not sure if this is doable. Any ideas?

Getting a place on Ko Phangan for NYE is basically impossible at this time, everything is 100% booked.
