Washington Post did another blind date as part of their date lab series.

I know the guy is your typical nice guy beta, but she'd be lucky to date him when she's a 4/10 and he's at least a 6/10. But since she's an accomplished career woman she will wait for her Denzel Washington. A couple comments in his favor:

The girl in this case is black, but I've seen Date Labs with chubby white girls who dismiss the guy initially even though he isn't bad looking.

I really dont understand what is with the over emphasis on 'travel' in the DC area. One of the comments made a good point, most all DC girls idea of "travel" is taking a corny guided trip with a travel agency where they're herded around with the rest of the cattle.

Most will say they "love to travel" and ask them where all they've been in its the Bahamas, once.

Roosh nailed it. She rejected a good-looking, professional, black, Christian man who mentors kids. Given the shortage of educated/professional black men, his mailbox should be overflowing with offers from women.

Those good-looking black alphas have no incentive to marry if they can tolerate an endless stream of "picky professionals" who want to "have fun".

Girl got it twisted.

I'd argue this scenario--which gets repeated ad naseum--is partially a product of the consumerist attitude in America, which places little value on any particular item, since everything is "replaceable," there's always a bigger-and-better, and there's an assumption of abundant selection waiting for you on the shelf. The problem is that women are applying the same rules they apply at Best Buy, when they're looking to replace the cell phone they've only had for nine months, when entirely different principle apply in the so-called "dating market." Here, what they bring to the table dictates what they can pull from the shelves.

This woman was a walking contradiction. After all of the things they seemed to have in common, she still stated that she didn't think they had a lot in common. Though he hadn't traveled a lot, he stated a clear interest in correcting that, and even stated reasons as to why he hadn't to that point. It would have been something they could share and explore together (which is supposedly what women want). And it isn't as if SHE had traveled extensively at that point either. Honestly, I don't see how she can do much better than this dude, yet she dismissed him out of hand. She deserves a future filled with cleaning litter boxes.

She's a lawyer, this is an immediate disqualification. This is the type of girl that would bang a buffed out thug who hasn't been outside of the DMV, but refuses an otherwise good man. He should have left in the middle of the date.

I believe that at age 29, which is the woman's age in this article, women still have some bargaining power on the dating market. I'm friends on Facebook with several women in the 26-30 age range, and to my surprise they still get a considerable amount of attention and flirty comments from men, although a little less than in their early 20s and it's trending downward. A few more years may be necessary for the balance of power to shift significantly (although in other countries it occurs earlier than in the US).

Ive gone on dates with a few law students since moving to the DMV area and it really does do something to the female mind. They're all bat shit crazy

I think lawyers and law students make great pump-and-dump/fuckbuddy candidates. Intolerable personalities but high testosterone and competitiveness often translate into being great at fucking.

After dating for fun for several years, they assume any man worth his salt just wants to bang. After all, every man she's desired has just wanted the bang. In that case I'm wondering why men are living in DC and if they have any self-respect. Out of curiosity I'm also wondering why DC is drawing this particular attitude. I can imagine Cali with the all the posing... but DC? I'm think about the Smithsonian, the Washington Monument and the seat of congress... not beaches packed with "Hell yes!" girls...

People come here for jobs. Government, Contractors, Lawyers, Lobbyists, etc. There is a lot of good food though

I'm here because of circumstances, not choice. Just enjoying what I can as long as I'm here.

DC is a conservative town. You can't really set up an Anglo-Saxon blonde with a Latino/ethnic guy and expect easy rapport the way it would happen in CA for example. People are uneasy here, they tend to stick to their own cultures.

I didn't read the whole article but it doesn't really matter what the "purported" reason was for dumping him, girls will usually tell white lies to mask the fact that they weren't into the guy in general. In this case, skinniness/muscle was just an excuse.

It's the jobs.

With the right computer/I.T. skill-set in DC, you will have just about guaranteed good income coming in...definitely enough to travel. I know some of ya'll have you own online business, etc...but we are talking 6-figure incomes for BARELY 40 hours of work. Since you are contracting for the "gubment", you work when they decide to give you work, so I can basically post on Roosh's forum all day until they want something done.
