White Flight W. Europe-- Where Are Best Places?
WHERE COULD WE GO IN W. EUROPE THAT WON'T BE PACKED WITH MENAs?

I worked for years off and on getting a Southern Europe passport. Now I'm wondering if my plan of buying a small apartment in some depopulated (read "cheap")area is going to provide the peaceful life I hoped for.

(I'm an LTR guy looking for a place to have kids, not to game. Probably importing Asian wife on my EU passport.)

I'm thinking mountain towns in Italy or France are not what MENA immigrants are looking for, especially if it gets cold in the winter.

I doubt mentioning it here will cause MENAs to go to some provincial town.

Ideas about where to go, places that won't be packed with annoying aggressive dudes after the massive surge that's occurring?

Italy, France and even Spain overall would be OK. They're not of interest to asylum seekers since they're not very advanced welfare wise.

Torrevieja is the go-to town in Spain for Scandinavians looking for peace and quiet, might be what you're looking for.

Apartments are cheap, plus just having a condo will grant you a residence permit and eventually a passport.

Any small town in a rural or mountainous area in France, Spain or northern Italy should be what you are looking for.

If you want cheap but good quality of life, Spain or Portugal is the way to go. How close do you want to be to a major city? The mountain suburbs around Madrid are great for families, very peaceful, and beautiful. As for Portugal, I doubt you could go wrong anywhere there.

Just about any city, town or village that doesn't specifically have a reputation for being overrun TBH. Even sweden's population is still something like 78% native swedes and the MENAs generally congregate into ghettos.

I think Italy's Right will be able to clean up its immigrant mess quite easily, because the path to citizenship for non-family applicants is extremely long and difficult. Prior experience with gypsies shows that the Ministry of Interior is very capable in that area when given the appropriate powers.

The MENA immigrants congregate in tourist areas, so avoid those and you'll be fine. For example, Pisa is infested but I've not seen a single one in neighbouring Lucca. They are not capable of being employed nor running serious businesses, so the only line of work for them in Italy is fleecing tourists.

I don't agree with the previous few comments about France. I think the problem is going to spread in that country due to its long-standing socialist welfare policies.

Edit: Also, if you don't mind trying other countries, Slovakia is very conservative. They recently passed a constitutional amendment banning fag-marriage with 85% support. The main problem is its language: being Slavic, it's very difficult to learn.

Some cross-over from the other thread:

Divorce does take years at the moment, but keep in mind that the current government is leftist. They're trying to bring in social changes including reform to divorce procedures, some kind of marriage-like status for faggots, an easier path to citizenship for immigrants, etc. Hopefully the Senate will block them.

Also, in terms of convenience, I found it much easier to get things done in Estonia and Slovakia. Italian bureaucracy is terrible, even for citizens. If you have a location-independent source of income it should be ok.

As far as France is concerned:

- Corsica
- small towns and villages (ie, less than 15 000 inhabitants) in the "Occitan heartland" (Auvergne, Limousin, rural districts in the greater Southwest such as Aveyron, Béarn, Lozère, Dordogne...) as well as the Basque country
- 3rd tier towns in Brittany (Dinan, Saint Malo...), Normandy and Vendée (probably THE most socially conservative place I have ever been to in France) as well as the various islands off Brittany Big Grin

As a rule of thumb avoid:

- any industrial (or formerly industrial) or manufacturing hub
- 1st and 2nd tier cities and their suburbs
- smallish provincial capitals
- university towns
