At a hostel I met this French guy who was telling us stories about all of his wild tale with women. Listening to this guy you would easily imagine that he was banging a different girl every couple of days. He even claimed to bang a different girl every day some weeks. He certainly didn't look like a typical "player" but there was a certain truth to some of the things he said. I became curious about him and ended up going on a trip with him to another city for about a week. I got to see first hand his game and how he operated but most importantly I got to see the women.

He did have a system and it worked - for him. This is what I learned from him and that experience:

1. The system doesn't matter. It always takes work. He put in a lot of work.
2. He was completely focused on getting sex. If he had a choice between a 4 and 6 and felt the 4 would be easier to bang he would pick the 4. Most guys wouldn't do this.
3. He went after women that were into him for forever reason and he was good at spotting them.
4. He used lots of negs and was very sarcastic but he also got sexually. Picking girls up and spinning them around etc. He would also mix English and French which the girls loved.
5. If you want sex it has to be your focus and you have to be sexual yourself. The women have to sense that you are sexual and that you want them. He was very good at conveying this in but in a controlled manner.

In that week he banged two women. The only problem was. I wouldn't have banged either of those women. They were both over 30 and a 5 at best. This is why it's important to know the quality of women a guy claims to get. If I was to drop my standards to his level I would also be banging a lot more women. Everything a guy says depends on this and also who he is. The irony of the story is this. While I was never jealous of the women he got. He was jealous of the girls I got to date but most of the time did not bang. He wanted better quality but wasn't willing to change himself and his approach to get it. The easy sex was like an addiction he couldn't break. He was a great guy to hang out with and he did teach me a few things that I am thankful for though.

Well, that's the point. A lot of guys that bang a lot of girls aren't banging high quality girls. Before I saw the type of girls he banged I was really impressed with his stories. In my mind, I was imagining girls I would want to bang. He is good at what he does though. He could get better girls but he would need to make some changes.

Unless the dude is trying to write a game book and run a men's club online, what is he doing for money?

Most likely broke. Sure he gets laid weekly, but he's probably living in the slumiest of slum.

Not to mention the quality problem. How does he keep it hard?

What I rate as a 4 other guys may rate as a 5 or 6. So that's another problem. There's no standardized rating system. This is why you personally have to see the girls. And yes, he didn't have a lot of money. For that matter, he would not spend a cent on any girl. If they went to lunch they had to pay for their own meal. And in many instances the girls would actually give him stuff and pay for things for him. He also got them to let him stay with them at their apartment so he can save money. I would say he was one of the top guys I ever saw producing real results even if the quality was not up to my standards. GLL said if you have a problem getting laid its because your standards are too high and this is true.

There's something to be said about this. Women love trying to "fix" things, especially a hipster looking french guy down on his luck. Bonus points for getting the bang out of it.

Though this lifestyle is a wee bit too fraught for me. You have no power or utility, the women own the relationship, and you're effectively a child that the woman has to mother (there's attraction in this sickeningly enough).

He's effectively a tumbleweed in the wind going from harbor to harbor.

Definitely not a comfortable place I'd be able to be in that's for sure.

@Breast Very accurate description. He is a good example of the starving artist and why women love them. I thought the primary focus on this forum was getting bangs? By this measure, I would say he was pretty successful. Oh, and one more thing: he doesn't drink and tells the girls he has a girlfriend.

In a way, yes. In the zero sum ideal of just getting the bang there's probably something to be said and there are many ideas we can glean from this french dude's lifestyle.

However, sometime in the not so distant past this forum took a turn from mindless hedonism into self improvement which is a bit more palpable for most to stomach.

Game is important to know, hands down. No question about that. But the question is: how low are you willing to go in order to get the notch? I've been there and done that.

Second is sustainability of his lifestyle. How adorable is his act going to be when he's in his 30s, 40s, or even 50s? He's getting bangs now, but will he be able to parlay this into something later?

And finally my last statement about being held at the whim of the women he is banging. One time I had this PhD biomechanical engineer as a plate. She was actually pretty hot for being a scientist. However, the thing that did us in was how she wanted me to be her "kept man" and stay at home while she worked. She wanted to be my sugar momma!

For some reason, I couldn't get hard after that. Things just went down hill and I ended a month after. Shame, because she was really cool. I just didn't like having that lack of control in the relationship.

In a zero sum sense of getting notches, do what you need to do. However, I get the impression that when you follow your "little head" you end up sacrificing things that impact your comfort and dignity. This is important to mention because sometimes you don't realize how far you've gone until you have a wake up moment like the one I mentioned above.

Ive seen this kind of guy on the streets of Paris and in hostels of backpacking trails.

They portray an 'artist' image, like they are some kind of photographer, designer, painter, etc. and actually has a certain charm with girls. The girls who fall into this are mainly the younger backpacking type girls and also girls who are into the art scene, but also some richer girls who are fascinated. I would say it does a lot more damage in countries like france, especially Paris. Young chicks are always looking for something fancy. They would rather fcuk this guy rather than a guy with a regular job with steady income. However, I would caution against people trying to imitate this kind of lifestyle.

Being less discriminatory with who you sleep with does have it's advantages though:

-Because you're willing to hit on a wider variety of girls you'll naturally exhibit a lot less thirst when hotter girls come around
-Dry spells will be a lot more infrequent
-Even ugs provide a learning experience. If not for anything else than giving you an opportunity to hone your game/methods/system. You don't have to fuck them.

These days I'll talk to girls I may not be necessarily attracted to if I think I can learn something out of the interaction or stay calibrated.

At least the french guy is being honest. No reason to shit on him.

The fact is if I don't have sex for a while I will fuck a pig if given the opportunity. Sex is like food to me. I only have standards if I'm not starving. If I'm starving enough I'd eat out of a trashcan. Mix in alcohol and who the fuck knows who I wake up next to.

With good online pictures and mixing all forms of game, it very much is possible to get 2 lays per week on a long-term consistent basis in Western countries. I believe it is possible to do this even in Russia, though right now my trips have been at 1.5 per week long term average. But I strongly believe it can be optimized to 2 per week in Russia with good quality.

If you are really good and have been at it for years, optimized your SMV in all areas, I think that in a place like Poland or Czech you could probably even hit a 3 per week long term average with 7s and over.
