I can't deal with emotion. I'm an unemotional guy who is getting a grip on manipulating emotions. That's a good short-term strategy to get some pussy, but a terrible long-term strategy. People don't react too well when they realize that they're getting played because of emotion. That's the thing with LTRs - they can only work if you're equally invested in one-another. If not, there's either going to be a messy breakup if she's somewhat emotionally stable. If she's bipolar, borderline or any other kind of emotional vampire, it could end up in a Lorena Bobbit or Jodi Arias situation.

I disagree, I like my women, to be women, and in touch with their feminine sides and emotions.

Too many times have I banged girls who are just down to fuck, or just want to get off. Don't get me wrong, a notch is a notch. But banging a woman whose feminine, makes it all that much better.

I enjoy when a woman lays her head on my bare chest or wants to cuddle me afterwards, it's showing affection, love, satisfaction, after I fucked her brains out. That's way more satisfying after cumming on her than just....cumming.

You can't deal with emotion ? That's a problem, you should deal with your emotions. In fact a man should be in CONTROL of his emotions, not avoid them or be unable to deal with them.

Women don't react well to being played because you never gave them the heads up to begin with. If you tell them you're busy and it's hard to maintain a Mini LTR or LTR and they STILL hangout with you, that's on them. You told them what was up from the get go. It's up to you to decided what to do when she has the "what are we talk".

In fact, I had this scenario played out twice and I ended both on the spot because I didn't want to lead them on and hurt them further (Keep in mind I was a year deep into my main LTR)

I disagree, never has there been a case where BOTH people were EQUALLY involved in an LTR, there is usually a power dynamic of 3 scenarios.

1. The little sprung bitch who has a hot chick and will do anything for her.
2. The powerful man in charge of the relationship, willing to leave at any time and the feminine women that adores and chases him.
3. The power couple- the man usually leads, but the women is feminine as well but confident in her place with him.

All three scenarios someone is invested more than the other, you want to be the one who has the power in a relationship at all times.

Breakups will make emotions unstable, if you're in an LTR with a woman whose emotionally unstable and you don't see the red flags beforehand, that's on you.

In my latest experience I went the way of not going to tolerate bullshit. It worked well for a few months but then the shit tests increased to a point that I couldn't stand it. Let the girl go.

A few times she was complaining on why I was so intolerant and "didn't meet her half way". how we are supposed to be a team and i'm not acting like a team mate. How things are always my way and I never compromise.

so in my opinion yes you can maintain power and frame in an LTR this way but there does come a point where you get sick of the girl trying to break you somehow. You should consider a girl that is going to keep the shit testing to a bare minimum and doesn't mind being submissive and having you lead the relationship. Kind of sounds like my grandma and grandpa in their relationship actually.

Sidenote: it's not about women of NYC or LA etc. It's about women. First you would need to understand the power of emotional connection and how it feels from a feminine standpoint. It's something more than some commonalities or shit that she has gone through with her man. It's fucking deep. It's linked to their nature so we can't really understand it well enough.

A resounding yes

Ideally, it's better BEFORE she gets deeply involved if she has a firm understanding of who you are as a man and how she fits into your life.

However, if at anytime a woman starts to routinely take you for granted, allows her friends poisonous views seep into your relationship with her, or stubbornly refuses to address concerns threaten your union she needs to know that the possibility of you pulling up your tent and moving your circus to another town is real.

It doesn't have to be yelled, constantly insinuated, or hinted. She can feel the security of your embrace and the benevolence of your actions without displaying the smug complacency often comes with the feeling of entitlement.

Just a silent understanding that you love yourself enough to have expectations of her, and the relationship.

I actually agree with everything you said. My previous post did not explain my position in enough detail, so it came off as bitter and anti-feminine. I wrote a longer reply yesterday, but my laptop's battery died and the post did not get saved. So excuse the brevity.

My point was that I can't stand negative emotional behavior. I love that girls get emotional during romance - the oxytocin high is fantastic, and can't be replaced by bland, loveless sex. Its part of the reason I can't ever bang pros - the sex is devoid of emotion.

But negative emotional behavior genuinely scares me. Screaming, barrages of angry texts, and so on makes me wonder if the girl wants to kill me.

Unfortunately, that's part and parcel of the whole. Love is real and is Sex's twin sister. Like WIA's first post mentions, the obsession is a result of successful game. Its something we tell newbies to avoid, but its what we ultimately get from girls.

I'm not bitter about it, but the obsession that girls have for you is both good and bad. The affection and adoration need to be experienced by every man at least once in his lifetime. But the anger and hate are inevitable, no matter how emotionally stable the girl is.

Avoiding nutcases is important, but that doesn't mean that we should avoid relationships altogether.
