My friend suggested to me that Macri and Trump could cut a food and energy pact, since the US and Argentina produce food and have the potential to produce more energy than anyone else with their oil and gas reserves. I said you should add in Canada with the tar sands.

Think what happens if that bears fruit, a US-Canada-Argentina energy pact could possibly destroy OPEC and tell the Saudis to fuck off and die. That would be a huge boon to the entire world. Wahabbism would lose its power and ISIS and other terrorists would lose their sheik oil kingpins.

He said it best, if done right it could change the entire direction of the species.

I'm not too well versed in the geo-politics of the global oil business but to me it just doesn't make sense that the US rejects the expansion of ethical Canadian oil (Keystone XL pipeline) in favour of oil from countries that are so opposed to the US such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Venezuela, etc. Of course in both the US and Canada, the environmentalists have won the PR campaign about oil, even if they are hypocrites for supporting brutal regimes that treat their people like shit. I'm sure quite a few Canadians like myself would be ok with the US wanting to expand oil sands development, it would be a major boon to our currently hurting resource sector.

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

Marci's wife is really charming and a wall survivor at age 41.
Allegedly they met in the gym!

But I'm not so sure he's very red pill ... with her.

By the way, Macri's beautiful wife is of distant Lebanese and... Syrian origin. She lived for quite a long time in Belgium, is classy and speaks French.

They did meet at the gym. Macri likes sports, he lifts, and plays soccer each week with friends: A real red-pill politician, intelligent, experienced, determined.

Macri already, today during his first press conference, asked for the Mercosur to suspend blood-thirsty dictator Maduro and demand freedom for Venezuelan political prisoners.

Here's something every red-pill man should witness on TV:

In a few days, extreme-SJW ultra-feminist retro-castro-communist (ex-)president Cristina will have to hand over the presidential symbol (baston) to Macri in front of the country's eyes, public and media. The look on her face will be priceless, priceless!

About Lebanese-Syrians here in Argentina: We got some number of them decades ago, and integrated well, in fact some that went back took the mate with them back to Lebanon/Syria.

As for a Macri/Trump deal....both are bussinessman, i can see it in the future.

RE: World political trend about to be bucked?
The Right in Latin America are the nastiest bunch with a very bloody history of coups, military dictatorships, assorted death squads and are the epitome of the worst excesses of neo-liberal market economics which usually benefit their rich benefactors. When it comes to foreign policy, they usually tow the Washington line and Macri is no different. If you think the return of the Right is good for Russia, China, Iran and the other powers looking to challenge US hegemony is a good thing, then you are in for a big shock. Same goes for Trump.

What you described is 40 years old. Forty years old, and exaggerated.

Anyway... Implying that Macri (or Trump?) could use "death squads" is ludicrous: I bet you've never even set foot in South America? Death squads only exist in some Caracas barrios, mate!

Macri launching death squads in Argentina's streets, with the blessing of Trump?:

Death squads are a lot more recent than "40 years old" mate!

First of all, HuffingtonPost , but lets ignore that.

The paramilitaries don't "reign over Colombia", that is laughable. They are in specific regions. Have you been to Colombia? Have you lived there? I have.

The paramilitaries ≠ the government. You're trying conflate the two and make a link between a modern right leaning government and these groups, which just isn't there.

What does any of this have to do with anything recent regarding right leaning governments in SA?

It's not surprising that HuffPo and you don't mention the FARC.

It's not surprising that HuffPo and you don't mention the FARC.

It is a well known fact that right wing paramilitaries have been linked to elements of or directly to the Colombian government themselves. They have carried out massacres and assassinations of anyone deemed to be a threat that included left wing activists, trade unionists, community leaders etc. I have no time whatsoever for the FARC either.

As for your assertion that "What does any of this have to do with anything recent regarding right leaning governments in SA?" well everything really. Many of the former paramilitaries in the rest of SA have melted back into society and 'gained respectability' by joining political parties, a bit like what the KLA have done in Kosovo but a leopard never changes its spots. Cometh the hour, they will crawl out of the woodwork again to pick up where they left off. We saw it in the very recent past in Venezuela in 2002 and Honduras in 2009 where a US backed coup toppled a democratically elected government. It had Hillary Clinton's paws all over it.

http://america.aljazeera.com/opinions/20...olicy.html

These examples shows quite clearly and clearly that the Right in SA are still up to their old tricks and are inextricably linked with the White upper class political Establishment who will do anything to protect the status quo and if that means toppling any democratically elected governments and bumping off people they dont like, then so be it. They know they will get away with it with Washington's blessing.

The Alt Right in Europe and the Right in SA are not the same. The Alt Right in Europe are not lapdogs of US Imperialism or Zionist gangster bankers. Orban proved that.

Traktor, have you even been in South America? Colombia is an spcial case because they are still fighting against left-wing guerrillas, but para groups is not the same as the govberment. As for the rest the countries in the continent, the right is the only thing against the lefty populist dictadures. Here in Argentina the "old-school" right-wings are eaither dead, or become kirchneristas (funny, right?), Macri is a good excample of center-right. more focused in getting the country on its feets than in death-squads.

RE: World political trend about to be bucked?
Traktor, I knew you would use the only (and marginal) remaining example, that of the Colombia paramilitaries.

By the way, Colombian paramilitaries existed (in some parts of the country) in "self-defense" reaction to the criminal, kidnapp-friendly, communist FARCS (even naming themselves, self-defense forces)... But never mind, it's an old, regional, story (that ended with the drowning of Cuchillo years ago).

By the way, you said: "a leopard never changes its spots": well, this I fear might apply to you, because you wrote this, about the Right: "inextricably linked with the Whites"... A sad and over-generalizing comment. Only the far-Left and SJWs are still accusing the Right of being "favored by White voters".

It's actually the Godwin Law of Latin America: you talk with leftists here, they will all, at some point and inevitably, tell you: "But the Right is raycisst, the Right likes Whites!". Please, give us a break!

I have been asking a lot of Venezuelans lately, including some sort of Chavistas, what they think will happen and they all have said the government will change "any day now." I hope so.
