I'm not a native English speaker and recently I decided to write some stuff for myself, kind of a book. I feel that my grammar is not rich enough and not always correct.

Is there any way to check somehow the correct way of writing? I don't mean the spelling, I want my writing to be suitable for books and high level literature. Any advice how to improve it?

Strunk and White's Elements of Style is the best book for nailing down fundamental grammar and stylistic skills for any audience, especially academic ones.

For any specific tips you can PM me and I can help answer your questions or point you to guys who can. I believe there's also some skilled writers on here who can help you with specifics.

But as far as knowing if your flow and grammar are correct, read through Elements of Style and make sure you hit each point. It's short enough to act like a checklist in a sense. That book is honestly a must-have if you even entertain the idea of serious writing, native speaker or not.

Without seeing your writing no one can gauge how much work you really need(i have no idea of what you mean when you say your grammar isn't "rich"). How long have you been studying English? It will take years to get achieve native fluency tbh.

The archaic Strunk & White was a waste of time when I read it. The point of writing is to convey your message in a way your audience will understand it; and you can't always do that following arcane rules.

It's more practical to hire a tutor to critique your writing. Sign up on italki and practice with a native English speaker. Or when you write something sign-up for e-lance, hire an editor to edit your piece and have them use the track change feature in Word so you can see where they make changes.

Alternatively google "grammarly", sign-up for it and the program will suggest grammar corrections(it's catches things that Microsoft Word doesn't, worth the price).

I don't know what you're writing about but read copious amounts of text in the same content area to get an idea of the dominant writing style, voice, syntax, etc that is normally used in this field.
