RE: Escape The West - But To Where?
I understand the interest in escaping the west and the corruption it has become, but how about another alternative:

It's not like if you live in the USA, you have to live in a giant city with corrupt western values

What about finding a traditional girl abroad with family values and living in a medium sized or small , conservative traditional town in the USA?

There's thousands of them. No one's discussing this.

  • Low Muslim Population - preferably a Christian or heavily secular country.
  • Relative Safety - by relative I mean not having to worry about getting shot or robbed on the way to the gym/market. That rules out many parts of Mexico for instance but not all. It also dropped Buenos Aires and many parts of Argentina off our list.
  • Solid Basic Infrastructure - clean water and electricity with rare outages. A challenge in many parts of South America but it's a regional thing, and there are places in Mexico that have great water whilst you may get arsenic poisoning drinking water out of the faucet or mercury poisoning just taking a shower in others.
  • Solid Internet Access - I am talking at least 5Mb/sec with rare outages. That'll be a tough one outside 1st world countries.
  • Good Weather - note that I mentioned 'good' and not 'great' - if I have to choose between L.A. or Mediterranean weather and living out my days in peace/safety I rather deal with a bit of seasonal discomfort.
  • Food We Like - that sounds like a luxury but I have learned in my life that living in a place where you hate the food is almost impossible. Forget about organic food of course - we hope to find a place where we make friends with local farmers and perhaps grow our own vegetables.

So here's our list to kick start this thread:

Isn't there a shit load of places in the U.S. that meet these requirements?

I went there and read the post 262. It's a good one, but I don't think it directly counters the specific point I made which is, bringing a foreign girl back to the US to live in a rather rural or mid sized US town. One you've researched that is more traditional than a city.

I understand the thinking about abandoning the West and I've considered it myself long term. I think it essentially comes down to flight or fight. Do I say 'the hell with it' and flee the western rot, or do I "fight" it?

Well, the fleeing is pretty easy to understand. You pick a foreign country whose vibe you like, with the women you like and job prospects you like, and up and move there.

However, if all neomasculine men do this, we're in a sense ceding victory to the SJW's and freaks. We're surrendering our homeland ( if you're an American ) to these leftist loons. We're 'giving up' in a sense. I don't look down on anyone who decides to do this because I see the mess it's become and like I said, I've considered and am even still considering leaving myself one day. It's just, as I said if we all did it, we're abandoning our country and family for ourselves.

Imagine if all marriage-minded neomasculine men on this site and throughout the manosphere found a traditional, feminine wife. They then moved to an area in the USA that was a more conservative region. They raised their sons ( or daughters ) to be red pill and to love what the USA once stood for. Maybe one day, many of these kids would grow up to be leaders in communities, politicians, perhaps one would be the President and savior of the country.

I know this is all conjecture on my part. The point, however, is that if most men flee the west and set roots elsewhere, there will be no one left here to fight for the soul and future of the USA. Additionally, future generations of red pill men will be born elsewhere, in other countries. So, there won't be new crops of these people continuing the fight here at home.

I think finding a good wife, foreign if necessary and setting roots in a US town that still has the older American values is the second best option ( if not the first ) to moving overseas for good.

Perhaps we should start a thread on "traditional, conservative American towns that are family friendly" or some such.

RE: Escape The West - But To Where?
Ah, I missed the word "abroad" in your question. My bad.

That being said, I think elsewhere in that thread - if not in this forum - your specific idea has been discussed too.

I also know the idea of whether America is worth saving or not has been discussed too. I think the best response is Aaron Clarey's general response, which is to first save yourself and your willing loved ones (including your future descendants), before trying to convert the the masses, nevermind your opponents.

Also note that if you do have descendants abroad, they may actually be in a better position (or at least some position) to rebuild America after a collapse.

All conjecture, of course. Best bet is to build yourself so that you can be flexible as changes happen.

Young Greek women selling sex for the price of a sandwich, new study shows

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/you...?tid=sm_tw

' Young Greek women are selling sex for the price of a sandwich as six years of painful austerity have pushed the European
country to the financial brink, a new study showed Friday.

The study, which compiled data on more than 17,000 sex workers operating in Greece, found that Greek women now
dominate the country’s prostitution industry, replacing Eastern European women, and that the sex on sale in Greece
is some of the cheapest on offer in Europe.

“Some women just do it for a cheese pie, or a sandwich they need to eat because they are hungry,” Gregory Laxos, a sociology
professor at the Panteion University in Athens, told the London Times newspaper. “Others [do it] to pay taxes, bills, for urgent
expenses or a quick [drug] fix,” said Laxos, who conducted the three-year study. '

RE: Escape The West - But To Where?
I agree with those who say you can still find good areas in the United States. IMO one of the last bastions of old school America and common sense is Texas. I would also say places like Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming, Oklahoma, etc. However, I don't really sense the average Roosh Forum member embracing a remote, isolated state regardless of how "traditional" they may be. Also, some of those states are so religious that they are virtually on the edge of being Christian Taliban. However, Texas has tremendous diversity combined with large cities for those that love the fast moving city life. There is a constant fear there that it is only a matter of time until the state is infected by liberal transplants and destroyed like the rest of America. You can already see that infection in the city of Austin. Texas is a place that promotes independence, pride, and tradition which are becoming rare in America. Like anywhere else you will encounter stupidity, rude bitches, douchebags, etc. however it is not overwhelming like in many places in the U.S. (California is first on the list). Texas is a place that is conservative yet allows men to be men. Shooting guns, drinking beer, and chasing women is part of the norm (at least for me). It also has a mid-range feel where you can do the manly things without being a toothless redneck. Women there are turned on and attracted by this. You can be educated and well-travelled and still do the stuff I talked about. When you are ready to transition to the family life you can move to a smaller community on the outer fringes of the metro where you can enjoy a more simple existence yet you are close to the options that a metro area has. The state has a strong economy providing great employment opportunities. So if you have a good paying job and you get restless you have cash and international airports to provide you with international travel. Sounds like a good deal to me. Disclaimer: I am in no way, shape, or form a spokesperson/representative for the state.

QUESTION: we all research our travels. A little or a lot. Either before or after, especially when we decide that we have to return again! And this a need for the OP and others on this thread.

This is a recurrent subject in the Travel Forum. I just want to add another favorite tool, here:

Use place names like towns, lakes, mountains, even beaches. Then search the term combo using Bing; then hit "images."

For me, this produces the best combination of recent results to choose from, mixing in amateur and pro photos. I use this friendly tool to facilitate my armchair travel.

LONGER SIDE NOTE: an excellent old film from the 1980s, based on a worthy novel, is called "The Accidental Tourist."

The theme is a divorcees dessicated emotional life and how he eventually breaks out of it. For a living, he writes books for people who are too neurotic to travel without a "hand holding" tour guide book, usually because they have to for business.

I've thought that the movie and the mid-life themes it explores would be a worth an update for the internet/laptop age. To me, it screams "FILM SCRIPT OPPORTUNITY!"

Another worthy angle would be to veer into PU-Artistry and self-improvement to break out of a moldy, stale, emotional existence. Or rather, that should be a related but different film.

My apologies for not responding in the past few days. I got slapped with a warning after an unfortunate verbal faux pas and wasn't able to comment Blush

rudebwoy: Apologies mate - my family was affected by the Betaclan massacre in Paris and my response to you was a bit harsh. Let's call it water under the bridge?

Anyway, the original goal of this thread was to produce a list of possible expat destinations benefitting all forum members. I knew from the get-go that many of you would not agree with leaving your home countries and that's fine. For the rest of us it would be good to have a data sheet similar to what Roosh put together back in the days with his respective country/city reviews. Those are a good starting point for red pillers of course but I would like to add to those via a migration angle.

Some of you have suggested that I may be overreacting and that my current residence here in Spain is actually a pretty good setup for me. Well, I would agree with the latter but regarding my concerns for Souther Europe I have become very cautious about projecting forward from the current status quo. Who would have considered two or three years ago that Germany would be funneling close to a million refugees into their sovereign territory in 2015 alone? The people living near the Bavarian border or those poor guys in Spielefeld Austria didn't see what was coming even a year ago. And this is what they had to deal with this summer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMLJyhcrELQ

I do read the comment sections in the Austrian news regularly as I speak fluent German and I can tell you that the Austrians did not see this coming whatsoever. A lot of anger, fear, and frustration in the comment section (read Krone.at if you speak German), especially from people outside of Vienna, which is a leftist stronghold as well as that of a large growing Muslim community (basically just like Berlin in Germany).

Anyway if Merkel keeps this up for another two years I have grave doubts about the *long term implications* all across Europe. Granted - Spain will probably be less affected in the beginning but one cannot be sure how things will evolve five to ten years down the line. I for one prefer to plan on a long term basis and thus always consider two or three separate exit scenarios. Planning long term will allow you to act swiftly when things for some reason get out of hand.

Of course I could move back to the United States but I had a lot of reasons for leaving that place a few years ago. Exploding healthcare cost and very high cost of living (e.g. housing, connectivity, heat/electricity, food, etc.). In comparison we spend about 1/2 here in Spain with a much higher standard of living and quality of life. As we make pretty good money via an online business we have it made right now - as someone pointed out. And I'm sure life will be pretty good here a year or perhaps two from now. But long term - who knows - there are just too many variables given the economic crisis, the political tensions across Europe, and now the migration crisis thrown on top of all that. How it all ends up five/ten years down the line is anyone's guess. Thus it's always good to have an exit plan ;-)

You're requirements seem really tough. You want low cost of living, first world amenities, low crime, good weather, language you can speak, and no threat of muslims moving into said country..etc.

I still say you need to find a lower cost of living place in the U.S. thats a bit more isolated. Probably a town in Colorado or maybe somewhere in Oregon or Austin, TX.

Actually I may be open to that idea - in a pinch. However having spent over 20 years in the U.S. I did grow a bit tired of the B.S. a few years ago and wanted to reconnect with my European roots. Anyway, even if I moved back to Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, etc. - health care cost for a small business owner near the 50 mark will be prohibitive. You younger kids may chuckle but it's a real issue once you start crossing the big 5. Whereas even a small traffic accident in the U.S. may wind up costing you tens of thousands of Dollars (even with insurance) here in Europe you are pretty much covered for a fraction of that cost. In the U.S. my wife and I paid about $500 per month for very basic coverage with a $2k co-pay - and that was in our 40s. Over here in Spain I currently get completely private coverage with no co-pay for €1200 per YEAR. May be not up to snuff with U.S. healthcare standards but you will get basic 1st world treatment.

Healthcare cost becomes an exponential concern as you get older. Again, not a huge deal perhaps for you younger guys - for now... ;-)

Im covered by my employer and Im younger but I get your point being a small business owner costs ad outrageous US healthcare costs.

It just sounds like you need to concede to one of your requirements though. To me the more logical approach is to move to another town in Spain that doesn't have a muslim problem and play it from there. Assuming there is one

RE: Escape The West - But To Where?
My 2¢; and for the record I'm in the 'resistance' camp, largely because I see no viable alternative.

The home of the digger wasp is also where you find its natural predator; America is the source of all of the toxicity poisoning the Western Man, but it's also the home of the greatest resistance. Canada? My homeland has barely clung to civilization for the past few decades, and with the recent election of Trudeau it has fully cucked itself. It's been handed itself over to the Globalist multicultis, the psychopathic 1% - and like all cuckolds, it's proud of itself for destroying it's own heritage.

America and Russia are the only options - and I'm of Saxon/Romantic descent, so the West is where I belong. I can't deal with those Eastern Whites; I like and admire 'em, but their movements are strange, their sense of humour confusing, and their approach to violence is utterly incompatible with what I'm accustomed to.

The way I figure it, we've got two options: dive into nihilistic hedonism, the end result of which is suicide, or make our stand - and in all likelihood, die after a great deal of torture has been inflicted upon us.

Interesting times, gentlemen.

Texas would be a good choice in addition to the others you mention. Don't forget the southern states though:

Alabama
Mississippi
Georgia
Louisiana
Tennessee
Kentucky
The Virginias
The Carolinas

The list goes on. There's really conservative regions in almost any state. I guess it boils down do you want to live in a red dot or red area in a blue state or just live in a red state.

First, I've heard lots of good things about Texas from friends who are either from Texas or went to school there.

Second, I have first hand knowledge of Montana and Wyoming. Its not all peaches and cream there. Montana outside of Missoula and Bozeman is hick central and the young girls are insane sults. Imagine a place where there are tons of men, very few women and nothing to do with terrible, end of days winters. To drive to a decent city takes a whole day (Seattle or Minneapolis). This was even before Tinder and Facebook, so I don't what its like today, but I fear its much worse. Add in meth and fatties and plenty of in shape, handsome, likable guys are fighting over girls who have fucked 30-50 guys in that town (essentially every social circle in that city she has fucked at least one guy).

Montana cities: from what I remember a while ago

Billings - 100,000 (biggest city, shithole, east MT is like South Dakota)
Missoula - 70k Hippie town, fun, most livable in MT, loose chicks
Bozeman 40k - Most money, nicest, townies are whores, university chicks are insular
Helena - 80k - not much experience here, don't have much to say
Butte - toxic waste shithole, meth heads, alcoholics

Those are the cities of Montana, that's it. There are a very limited number of social circles in a town of 40-80k and pretty soon you either fuck through all of them or give up and go skiing/snowshoeing/hiking/fishing.

Wyoming is a whole extra level of BS, even worse ratios and townie whores.

So I would cross those places off as somewhere to go to. The south might be an option. I don't have much knowledge outside of NW Georgia in the foothills but the Baptists there scared the shit out of me. Some incredible hotties though.

RE: Escape The West - But To Where?
OP already mentioned he lived in the USA for several years and how expensive it was, healthcare.

Why would he move back?

2nd or 3rd tier Spain would be my choice.

I was in Malaga a few years back, seemed like a nice quite coastal town. I bought a litre of wine for 3 euros.

A lot of the OP's OP has been ignored in this thread, lol (I'm guilty too).

Also note how whenever there's a "let's look abroad" thread, there's always a few guys who bump the West instead, even if the OP preemptively tells them to get lost, as this OP did.

Another thing to note is that these West-bumping guys never seem to bother starting or sticking to their own "let's find the best place in the West" threads.

It's like their main goal is to keep guys from even exploring outside the West, nevermind leaving it.

Edit: "But the forum is unfairly biased against the West, man!" Bah, I say let the anecdotes collect and stand on their own. When I hear guys getting laid or finding LTRs in Boise like they do in Cebu, for instance, maybe I'll care.

"But we have to save the West, brah!" No. I'd rather save myself and my willing loved ones (including my future descendants), and then, a country that best rewards me for saving it - assuming I even can, which is questionable.

A little of topic however; The future of most western nations in the Americas, including Latin America is similar to that of the Caribbean.

Think of Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Panama, etc. Multiracial but monocultural. Relatively wealthy but with a high degree of social stratification and income inequality. Generally peaceful but slightly elevated levels of crime, however not unbearable. That's the direction we're heading in barring any black Swan events.

Multiculturalism was a foolish ideology that was created by white elites in the USA in response to a frightful southern white population spooked by desegregation. The elites realised that the nations they lorded over were already multiracial. Multiculturalism is basically cultural segregation, to assauge fears of those who hate integration. The term has been marketed very well, its become the liberal catchphrase for all things altruistic.

The leaders should've been honest from the get go, and we would've avoided a whole lot of confusion today.

It should have gone something like this: "We've got Indians, blacks, whites, and Chinese in different percentages to varying degrees on this continent throughout different nations. There's going to be a varying degree of both cultural and racial assimilation. The government will try to remain mostly neutral."

In the prairies here in Canada it's incredible how many people are Metis* or qualify for metis status cards. Just goes to show if you throw a few civilizations together, or even people from there as individuals, you'll get both some form of integration and friction. The rest is all bs.

I agree with you, the Americas are the best place to be in the long run, for better or worse. Islam will never gain a solid foothold here as an ideology. We are an ideologically capitalist people, who for the most part prize capitalism and hard work over blood lines and tribe. Not everyone, but certainly many of the movers and shakers.

The Americas are still the best for raising a family long term for that reason.

*-Metis - native Indian mixed with European, most likely French, to any varying degree.

It's not like if you live in the USA, you have to live in a giant city with corrupt western values

What about finding a traditional girl abroad with family values and living in a medium sized or small , conservative traditional town in the USA?

There's thousands of them. No one's discussing this.

It's discussed here:
